Grundodrill 15 N incorporates the powerful combination of the TT Groups latest techno-logy and world wide user experience. Robustly and precision engineered, Grundodrills rigid construction (weight 12500 kg) easily handles its impressive 7000 Nm of torque and 167 kN (16.7 t) of thrust and pullback. During the drilling process the rig can be quickly confi-gured using the touch screen control and pro-vide all functions with variable power, to suit the toughest ground types, up to the maximum values shown. Grundodrill’s impact unit pro- vides additional impact of 28 tons at a fre-quency of 0 – 1500 strokes/min keeping you drilling and eliminating lost production due to stall out.

The rod box is fully galvanised offering advan-ced corrosive protection. Similarly the one piece motor hood is non corrosive and fully weather resistant. Grundodrill’s manually controlled hydraulic override system is housed here. Compact construction with an own weight of 12 t (incl. 210 m of drill rods) 2 stabilisors and an optimal load distribution guarantees great stability in every position; the rig has good driving properties, due to the rubber tracked undercarriage (Rubber coated steel optional).

The manual hydraulics beneath the rod box are available immedi-ately in case of power interruption.

The MA 07 is a Bentonite mix and supply system with two 4000 l tanks, optimally suited for all fluid assisted HDD drill units with Bentonite-on-board pump/ 500 l/min. Two independent rotary pumps simultaneously mix and supply drilling fluid powered by a 24.5 kW Hatz Silent-Pack diesel motor. The innovative direct power drive coupler, totally elimi-nates potential down time due to pump, hose or valve failure, providing fault free operation. The 70 l diesel tank is sufficient for over 20 operating hours.• The 1500 l/min. mixing and circulating

pump prepares 4000 l of drilling fluid in only 3 minutes.

• The distribution system, installed cen-trally inside the tank, provides maxi-mum circulation and turbulence of the drilling fluid right into every corner of the tank.

• The MA 07 easily processes highly vis-cose drilling fluids at a pump mixing capacity of 1500 l/min.

• The transfer pump conveys the dril-ling fluid suspension to the drill rig at 550 l/min.

Pipe pulling force measurement with

Grundolog III According to the German papers DVGW GW 321, 322/1 and 323 as well as DWA M 143-15, the pulling forces applied to the product pipe must be measured and recorded on the customer’s request. This is performed to prevent ex-ceeding the maximum recom-mended tensile pulling force of the pipe. The GRUNDOLOG III, mounted directly in front of the pipe puller, is available for this important task.
