GROW GROUPS – FAQ’S Why should I join a Grow Group? People are made for relationships. Individualshunger for the deep, authentic relationships. A Grow Group is a place where one can travel life’s journey together. life’s journey together.
What is a Grow Group?
A church sponsored, supported and recognizedgroup of individuals who meet for fellowship,study, Bible/life discussions and prayer eachfall and spring semester.
How long do they last?
Each Group will commit to meet for twoEach Group will commit to meet for twosemesters through the school year.Groups may not meet as frequently duringthe summer and holiday months. How long does a meeting last?
A typical Group lasts 1-1.5 hours. However,Group time will vary.Group time will vary.
How is time spent?
Fellowship time (30 minutes), opening prayerand announcements (15 minutes), Bible studydiscussion and closing prayer (45 min).This is a suggested schedule. Can I join if I don’t go to Thrive?Can I join if I don’t go to Thrive?
Yes. Thrive friends, neighbors, family members,and coworkers can participate. Most of thediscussion/study materials are appropriate forboth believers and those not attending a church. What does it cost?
There may be some minimal expense forThere may be some minimal expense forliterature and child care, depending upon yourchosen Grow Group. If you need help, talk toyour Group facilitator for assistance.
