2. Objectives

The report is prepared primarily for the fulfillment of the class

requirement of Department of Finance, University of Dhaka.

The secondary objective of this report are listed below-

To analyze the scope of crop insurance in our countrywhich may affect the total agricultural sector and its

total production capacity, which is one of the most

major concern for an agricultural country like us.

To know the reality, and the thinking of the insuranceacademy and all the insurance companies about crop

insurance in Bangladesh.

To identify comparative aspect of crop insuranceamong some countries those are largely depended on

the agriculture and common attributes of those

countries about this type of insurance as well.

To identify and explain the causes why crop insuranceshould be introduced in our country and suggesting the

way of introducing.

It will also enable us to improve our skills on reportwriting. As corporate executive put great value on

report writing as an important element in organization

success, this part of the course will prepare us to face

the future challenges of corporate world.

After being ordered by our honorable course teacher of Risk Management, ( F-210)

wemake a group discussion and decided to collect data about the thinking and

application Crop Insurance of some other agricultural country.

Our plan for making

this report was firstly to collect data from various

articles on internet. we have followed someprocedures. Firstly we sort our content . then

analyze different contents .Secondly we

tried to match and differentiate the theory and
