History1940 - Mr Avelino Gomes do Monte started his activity in public work

1980 – Mr Manuel and Mr Alípio do Monte carried on Mr Avelino Gomes do Monte’s legacy

1980 – The 2 Monte brothers found the company Monte & Monte – nowadays Monte Group

1996 – Internationalisation in CAPE VERDE

1999 - Launch of the Group's participation in road concessions by AENOR. We attend the following

holdings with Auto-Estrada da Costa de Prata, SA, Lusoscut - Auto-Estradas do Grande Porto, SA,

Lusoscut - Auto-Estrada das Beiras Litoral e Alta SA, LusoLisboa - Auto-Estrada da Grande Lisboa, SA

Douro e AENOR - Auto-Estradas do Douro Interior, S. A.

2002 – The first steps for Monte & Monte internationalisation in ANGOLA

2004 – MonteAdriano Group develops Water utilities businesses through INDAQUA

2005 – MonteAdriano Group registers its branch in ROMANIA becoming an autonomous company in the country

2007 - The family Monte acquires 100% of the MonteAdriano Group

2008 – MonteAdriano Group inaugurates 169 km of road in HUAMBO – ANGOLA

2008 - MonteAdriano Group registers its branch business in MOROCCO, giving autonomy to business in the country;

2008 - MAEC first company in the field of engineering and construction to obtain international certification

2009 - Creation of companies MonteAdriano BRAZIL and MonteAdriano OMAN.

2010 – Creation of companies MonteAdriano Mozambique and MonteAdriano São Tomé e Príncipe.

> Ecovisão Angola works in Environmental Provision Services, Water Treatment and Monitoring, Vocational Training and Environment andPublic Health Awareness Campaigns, Landscape Projects, Regional Planning and Ecotourism.


> It works as a complement to the services performed by Ecovisão, namely in Environmental Bio/Technology area (waste and liquid effluenttreatment, reusing or not the energy).

> Management of industrial, agricultural and forestry waste;

> Development of wast management projects;

> Recycling of sludge in agriculture and forests;

> Degraded soils recovery projects.


>Water concessions are a participation of the Group with Mota-Engil and Soares da Costa; INDAQUA is present in Angola, in partnershipwith BPA. through Vista Water.

> RESURB – Ambiente, Lda. is an Angolan company of the MonteAdriano Group, founded in 2007.

It resulted from the increasing need to execute, in a correct way, in terms of technique and environment:

> collection management of Solid Waste> treatment solutions and final destination of waste> preservation of green areas and public cleansing.
