The Purpose of Family Planning

The purpose of family planning in Indonesia are:

General Purpose :

Improve the welfare of mothers, children in order to realize NKKBS (Norma Small Happy Family Welfare) on which the realization of a prosperous society with birth control while ensuring the controlled population growth.

Special Purpose :

1. Increase the number of people to use

contraceptives.2. The reduced number of infant births.3. Increased family planning health by spacing

births

Benefit Family Planning Programs

A.Benefits for Mother:

1. Prevent unwanted pregnancies.

2. Prevent at least one of four maternal

deaths.

3. Maintain their health.

4. More hard-wired to conceive.
