WHY ARE DONATIONS NECESSARY?
Our group chose to support the cure ofchildhood diseases. Childhood diseases arecommon, because they are characterized bytheir rapid transmission from one child toanother. Unfortunately, today, many childrensuffer from cancer and we all know thatfacing these medical expenses is veryexpensive. For that reason our idea is tosupport a help center for children with cancer.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
We have chosen a Children's Research Hospitalof St. Jude as the organization to invest. St Judeis leading the way the world understands, treatsand defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. One of the main reasons tosupport this foundation is because St. Jude hastreated children from all 50 states and around theworld. It was founded primarily by privatedonations, and thanks to the generosity of donors, families do not receive any invoices from St.Jude. St. Jude's approach is different from mostchildren's hospitals, because they only wantfamilies to focus on helping their children live.

CONCLUSION
Thanks to donations
Fortunately, 75 percent of St. Jude's daily expenses are covered by contributions. With this, St. Jude can continue to develop cures to save sick children around the world. _______________________________________
Donate with payroll deductions
Donations can be made directly deducted from the payroll of each donor. Only the donation form must be presented to the employer.
A different hospital
Only 12 percent of the money to operate thehospital comes from charges to insurers. This iscompletely different from most hospitals, whichcan generate more than 90 percent of theirincome, by insurance payments and othersources.

Resources to develop new cures
Over the past five years, an average of 83 cents of every dollar received has sustained research and treatment at St. Jude.
