Connecting With.....

Jade Searsthis issue we are connecting you with our newest fledgling Jade Sears. Jade works with Simon and his team in our City office.

Jade has always wanted to work in the travel industry and when she left school she studied travel and tourism at college for 3 years. Initially Jade intended to aim for a career in cabin crew but the college course opened her eyes to other areas of the business, which became more appealing as she continued her studies. Jade's first job was a temporary position at thomson Airways as a Pre Flight Agent and then just as she came to the end of her time at thomson, she contacted Grosvenor, and in her own words “I was lucky enough to get a position.”

We asked Jade our usual selection of questions:

What is your role at Grosvenor? I joined Grosvenor in September 2012 as a trainee Business travel Consultant.

What do you enjoy most about working at Grosvenor? I am enjoying the whole experience of learning the business including discovering new and exciting destinations! I also enjoy building up a good rapport with our customers but most of all it’s my colleagues that make the job for me.

What do you do in your spare time? Spend time with my family and friends doing all the usual stuff a 21 year old does!

What is your most favourite travel destination and why? So far Florida is top of the list. I loved the theme parks.

Where would you most like to visit? Somewhere in the Caribbean as I’ve never been there before.
