Organizing – the data is categorized under the artists name
Analyzing – tags are added to allow searches to be made
Storing and retrieving – the data is stored on the server where it can be retrieved through users searching in the Grooveshark website
Processing – Adding new songs and making data changes to existing songs
Transmitting and receiving – The server uses internet connection to stream music to the users computer
Displaying – the sound is played through the speakers
