Grimm’s Fairy Tales

Assignment

• Research and read through some of Grimm’s Fairy Tales and pick one you like.

• Think of a unique angle from which to illustrate the story.– For example, think of how different the movies “Mirror Mirror”

and “Snow White and the Huntsman” are from each other; one is humorous and the other is dark.

– Can you think of other movies that have illustrated a story in a totally different way than expected?

• Identify main ideas or themes in the story, and think of images or symbols you can use to represent them.

• Select a line of text from the story to include in your illustration.
