The perfect bowl of cerealCereal is a healthy and fast option for breakfast. Making the perfect bowl of cereal is about mixing milk and cereal in just the right amounts. In four easy steps we show you how you can have the perfect bowl to enjoy in the morning.

cereal

First, gather together everything needed to make a bowl of cereal.

You will need milk, cereal, a deep bowl, and a spoon. You can use

any kind of cereal and milk.

Next, open the cereal and the milk. To open the cereal box, open

the top flaps of the box. You will need to unscrew the cap on the milk container.

Pour the cereal from the box into the bowl. You will want the bowl

to be about half full with cereal. One more step and then you are

done.

Finally, fill the bowl with milk until it is almost to the top. You are now ready to enjoy your bowl of cereal. Grab a spoon and dig in.

Congratulations!

Begin by flipping up the collar of your dress shirt and placing the tie around your neck. The skinny end should be about 1/3 the length of the fat end. Cross the fat end over the skinny end, forming an “X.”

1

2

Bring the fat end under the cross you just made and pass the fat end of the tie through the “V” formed by the top of the “X.”

3

Pull the fat end of the tie down until taut, then bring the fat end around from behind the knot.

4

Now the skinny end of the tie should be in front of the fat end.

5

Wrap the fat end around the front of the knot.

Pull the fat end up through the back of the “V” and pull it down through the loop created by the

last wraparound.

7 Adjust the tie to fit your neck properly and so that there is a slight dimple in the top center portion of the tie.

A wide triangular knot best suited for spread collar shirts. 6

1

To start off you must set

your stovetop to high

2

Once the stove is heating

up, you must fill a medium

sized pot halfway with

water.

3

Place the pot of water onto

the stove and heat the water

until it boils.

4

After the water begins to

boil, carefully pour the

pasta into the pot.

5

Make sure you stir fre-

quently to keep the noodles

from sticking to the bottom

of the pan.

6

Pour your favorite sauce

into a pan, place it on the

stove, and begin to warm

it up.

7

Once the noodles are done,

you must strain the water

out.

Cue the bad jokes! How

many Daily Herald readers

does it take to change

a light bulb? One. After

you’ve read this tutorial,

you’ll all be experts in

completing one of life’s

simplest and most constant

tasks. It’s not that we

think you’re stupid, but

your spouse is tired of not

being able to turn on that

basement light for the past

three months.

-Eric Tingwall

• Safety firstTurn off the light switch for the fixture you’re replacing the bulb in. If you’re working with a lamp, unplug it.

Open it up •Remove the the cover to expose the light bulb. You may need a screwdriver to loosen screws. Make sure you don’t drop and break the cover. Keep a hand underneath the globe.

• • Remove the bulb Gently twist the light bulb counter clockwise (lefty loosey!) until it is out of the socket. Be careful. If the light was turned on recently, the bulb may be hot. Wait for it to cool or use a cloth to insulate your hand.

• Finish it Insert a new bulb that

matches the wattage of the old bulb. Reassemble the fixture

by replacing the cover and tightening the screws. Test your work by flipping on the light switch.

Don’t Trip On your Shoe Laces! Six Steps for Tying your Shoes:

It’s so easy - a four year old can do it!

Tripping on your own shoe laces is not only embarrassing but annoying. This is a break down to tying your shoes so the next time your walking through campus (or jogging) - there will be no wipe outs.

Step one:Criss-cross the laces and wrap them around each other.

1

Step 2:Pull each lace in opposite directions - tightening to the lip of the shoe.

Step 3:Loop one of the laces. It should look like a bunny ear.

Step 4:Take the straight lace and wrap around “bunny ear” lace.

Step 5:The “bunny ear” is more of an “8” after the wrap. Pull the “wrap” lace through the bottom loop into it’s own “bunny ear.”

Step 6:Pull each “bunny ear” in oppo-site directions - tightening the knot to the lip of the shoe.

ALL DONE!Your shoe is now safely tied. No more worrying about making a fool of yourself when you see that attractive counterpart.. unless your clumsy. There is no cure for that. Good luck!
