torontoToronto is the most ethnically diverse city on the planet and with almost 50% of its population born abroad, the city offers a rich cultural milieu. This is obvious in Toronto’s wide range of restaurants,
distinctive neighbourhoods, and cultural events and festivals. As Canada’s largest city, Toronto is the
country’s main business and entertainment hub. Set on the shores of beautiful Lake Ontario, and home to the CN Tower, and the Royal Ontario Museum,
Toronto is a delight to explore. If you want to escape into nature, Niagra Falls, and Ontario’s beautiful
cottage country are never far.

Coastal Mountains, Vancouver is Western Canada’s largest and most multicultural
metropolis. People fall in love with Vancouver’s beautiful natural setting, where beaches abound,
and outdoor adventure opportunities are only minutes away from the city. Home of the 2010 Winter Olympics, Vancouver is consistently
ranked as the World’s most “livable city.” Enjoy learning in Vancouver’s relaxed, west-coast

Montréal is the perfect place to get a taste of bilingual Canada. The largest French-speaking
city in the world outside of Paris, Montréal combines Old world architecture with the hip,
modern and vibrant energy that defines the French-Canadian “joie-de-vivre.” Montréal is
world renowned for its fabulous restaurants and cutting edge arts and culture. In summer, don’t
miss Montréal’s International Jazz Festival. Winter offers endless choices for outdoor activities, from snowboarding at Mont Tremblant to snowshoeing
and tobogganing at Jean Drapeau Park.
In India, the term “masala,” which means “mix,” is used to describe the spice mixtures that add such rich flavours to Indian cooking. The term could just
as easily be used to describe New Delhi, India’s vibrant and bustling capital. New Delhi is a young
metropolis, built upon the remnants of ancient cities. A fascinating mix of historical monuments and
modern high-tech industry, colourful nightlife and fabulous shopping and dining options, New Delhi is a feast for the senses. It is also a convenient launching point for some of India’s best tourist

Korea. Sometimes, I felt it was so challenging and tough. But through it all, I gained confidence. Teachers at Greystone are different from other teachers and I want to be like them. They were friends and parents as well as teachers to us. I really appreciate them. I am proud of being a
student at Greystone College. I think that whoever takes TESOL at Greystone, will not only get

The reason why I enrolled on the Greystone College TESOL Program was the mixture of nationalities and the diploma with TESL Canada recognition. Because not until I attended the course did I have any idea about the teachers and the management. But then I realized that they were the best reason
to enroll. The program helped me develop my many skills such as managing my time, getting the attention of students, making them have fun while
learning etc. You can also participate to many social activities managed by the school and make a lot of friends I would recommend this course to
others as it is absolutely great.

Program Description
If you are interested in working with children who are learning English as a second language, you need to have strong English skills yourself. You need to communicate with young ESL learners by using clear and correct English. It is also important to have the necessary teaching vocabulary to work with them.
Greystone’s TYL Program will help you achieve these goals. We help you improve your English skills and teaching vocabulary. We also give you the necessary confidence to work with children in English. We do this by focusing on interesting topics like how children develop and learn, as well as second language acquisition activities, games, crafts and songs that kids love. We also ensure that you do a number of presentations and provide you with a one week practicum in an Indian school or organization of your choice. Practice does make perfect!
Note: The exam is held 1 week after the completion of the program

Program Description
Greystone College’s Media Arts Program (MAP) focuses on hands-on training in real world media projects. It is an intensive diploma program combining four certificates. By offering a variety of media arts skills under one umbrella, the program aims to enhance interdisciplinary skills and increase opportunities with prospective employers in the film and television industry.
The Media Arts Film and Television Diploma is made up of four certificates. Students may take certificates individually or complete all four and recieve the diploma.
Students focus on in-house project training by creating films and television series to be broadcast either on television, online, or as live event visuals (concerts, theatre, etc.). The goal is for the students to “learn by doing.” MAP offers beginner and intermediate-advanced hands-on training in order to best support students’ existing skill set and provide them with the knowledge and expertise necessary to choose their career path and secure rewarding and successful employment in an industry that is growing in exciting new directions.
Program Length48 weeks (30 hours per week)
Pre-Production Certificate (4 weeks)This certificate provides students with the knowledge needed to plan a film or television shoot. Students learn to visualize a written script and break it down into its production components in order to turn it into a visual masterpiece. From staff contracts to set design, troubleshooting to terminology, students examine all elements of production.
Production Certificate (12 weeks) Students explore the history of filmmaking including early to modern storytelling for fiction, marketing and business applications. The technical processes of imaging via digital camera, lighting techniques, sound recording, location versus studio shooting, and post-production are also studied. In addition, students master the practical aspects of drafting a production budget, acquiring funding, writing a résumé, and creating business cards, websites and ‘demo reel’ DVDs. The curriculum allows students to produce work firsthand through an interactive format that stresses teamwork, professionalism and industry networking.in cross-cultural business environments.
Post-Production Certificate (20 weeks)This program explores the fundamental concepts of combining motion pictures, sound and effects to create a final work. Both the art of the editing and the technical aspects of editing software are examined. Through lectures and practical projects, students become competent in the process of video editing from the smallest details to the “big picture.”
Directing and Producing Certificate (12 weeks)The program provides a basic understanding of the roles, demands and importance of both the Director and Producer. Students learn to break scripts down in order to fulfill production requirements. The dual responsibilities of a Director as both artist and technician are also explored. Students discover the three phases of production, including the various roles of the crew.
