‘Getting connected to our customers through Infaumation window’

Auma India is supplying explosion proof actuators (81 nos.) with 2-wire MODBUS protocol to Honeywell Automation India Limited (HAIL) for automation of various IOCL marketing terminals under Uttar Pradesh Regional State Office (UPRSO). These actuators will be directly connected to the Honeywell’s PLC at site. HAIL along with Auma India will be automating allthe existing manually operated valves under this R&M job.

Auma India has bagged orders for supplying explosion proof actuators (546 nos.) with Fieldbus Protocol for the automation of various Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (IOCL) terminals. Auma India’s scope of work consists ofcommissioning of actuators for the automation of both existing and new valves. Earlier, Auma India has carried out similar work for HPCL and BPCL terminals.

Indian Strategic Petroleum Reserves Limited (ISPRL) is constructing underground-unlined rock cavern storage forimported crude oil at Padur, Karnataka for approximately 2.5 MMT. Engineers India limited (EIL), Project Management Consultant has selected Auma India to supply explosion proof actuators (99 nos.) with MODBUS protocol.

Scope of work for Auma India consists of supplying Auma India Master Station (AIMS) with the facility of serial and parallel communication, Marshalling Cabinet to mount AIMS and commissioning actuators at site.

Glimpses of Auma’s New Facility

Auma India assessed the energy consumption by conducting energy audits for few years and then took various actions such as:

• Installation of solar powered LED lights in the premises• T5 lights in new production building• LED lights for corporate office• VRV air conditioning system for corporate office• Timer control for air washer unit• Polycarbonate sheets roofing for natural lighting

These efforts resulted in the energy saving of 4.99 lakh kwh for the year 2011-12.

In today’s competitive market, it is essential to equip our customers with all the necessary inputs / informations to betheir first choice while making a decision. In addition to already available information on our products, we have recently added 3D solid models for weather proof electric actuators on our website.

These 3D models are available for both Norm and Integral Starter (Epac) actuators in universal STEP format. Other format like IGES can be provided on request.

A 2 day workshop on conducted by the Service Team at Coastal Gujarat Power Limited (CGPL)-Mundra (15 participants), Hindustan Zinc Limited (HZL)-Chittorgarh (23 participants) and Adani Power Maharashtra Limited-Tirora (27 particpants) in last quarter. Training sessions included theoretical aspects and practical training on Auma products. Training programme was also Do's and Don't’s, Commissioning and Troubleshooting tips of electric actuators.
