Greetings Prayer Warrior,

During the Season of Lent, we will be praying daily every morning, afternoon and evening for 40

days beginning on Wednesday, February 14th through Sunday, April 1st. The times that you pray

each morning, afternoon and evening are up to you.

Along with your daily prayer concerns and requests, please PRAY FOR:

LENT WEEK ONE

PRAY FOR Tanner’s Prayer Warriors and those participating in the 40-Day Daniel Fast.

PRAY THAT GOD will gird them up to be steadfast, un-moveable and unshakeable in

their desire to allow GOD to do HIS work of spiritual spring cleaning in their lives, hearts,

and minds through their prayers and fasting. PRAY THAT THEY WILL REMEMBER that

they can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens them.

LENT WEEK TWO

PRAY FOR ALL the members of Historic Tanner Chapel African Methodist Episcopal

Church. PRAY THAT GOD, during these 40-Days of PRAYER AND FASTING, will not only

clean us up, but that He will renew us, ignite us and unite us to become more

committed and focused on HIS KINGDOM BUILDING through the sharing of His Word to

the lost and forgotten.

LENT WEEK THREE

PRAY FOR THE SHEPHERD AND FIRST LADY OF OUR CHURCH. PRAY THAT GOD will keep

them strengthened and healthy as they labor in the vineyards of GOD. PRAY THAT GOD

will bless them with WISDOM and PEACE in the days to come.

PRAY that God will open up a window and pour out a blessing on our Men of Tanner

community conference: MEN 2 MEN: Resilient, United, Thriving, and all of the Men’s

Day 2018 activities.

LENT WEEK FOUR

PRAY FOR THE LEADERS | OFFICERS | TEACHERS | WORKERS and staff of our ZION.

PRAY GOD’S blessings up them as they continue to work for the LORD through the

various auxiliaries | boards | organizations | ministries of Tanner Chapel. PRAY GOD’S

SPIRIT OF UNITY AND COMPASSION over them as they work together all for the Glory of

God.

LENT WEEK FIVE

PRAY FOR THE LEADERS OF OUR CITY, STATE, AND NATION that during this Season of

Lent GOD’S MERCY AND LOVE will abound and fall fresh on them MOVING THEM

TOWARDS UNITY AND PEACE for God’s people. PRAY THAT GOD WILL MOVE in a might

way in the state of affairs of our city, state, and nation and our world according to HIS

WILL AND WAY.

LENT WEEK SIX

PRAY FOR OUR YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULTS that they will be encouraged to get

involved in the life of the church. PRAY FOR GOD’S HEALING MERCIES to strengthen

families, marriages, and couples during this season of Lent.

LENT WEEK SEVEN

PRAY FOR PASTORS, MINISTERS and their families, that God would move their spiritual

walk with Him from surviving to THRIVING and that a fresh anointing will fall upon them

from the crown of their heads to the tips of their toes. PRAY FOR EVERY CHURCH door

that is opened in our Lord and Savior, Jesus’ name that they will remain firm and faithful

in times of crisis and God will get the Glory!
