Enhancing Entrepreneurship Everywhere (EEE) is our motto and on this New Year Eve of 2020, we have resolved to achieve the same through AIC ALEAP We-Hub! A day in the life as an entrepreneur is full of innumerable challenges as been projected by Derek Halpern in this image. The list of tasks is daunting. There are accounts to look after, contract workers to care, huge payments to settle, tax fill-ups to submit, so on and so forth. It is as if someone standing at the foot of a cliff were asked to bound straight to the top, in a single leap. Perhaps they could attain height, but impractical to expect it all in one step. To change this landscape of ups and downs in the solitary journey, the concept of cluster that offers competitive edge and cooperative dynamics in scaling up the businesses is desirable. Since, early 90’s groups of similar businesses in a multitude of industries experienced the benefits of cluster manufacturing. Tech companies are the best example as many big companies are based in Silicon Valley. It is an indisputable fact that, the SME’s drive economic and employment growth and the real imperative is to create the total eco system. Thus, our incubation centre focuses on “Entrepreneurship Everywhere” by building the required ecosystem. We wish all the startups to expand and sustain with improved technology. AIC ALEAP We-Hub came out with the concept of “Socks Cluster” to connect six dynamic women startups who came up with the idea of making a variety of cotton socks.
The industry cluster is a group of similar industries that share common technology, worker skills, capital intensive machinery, specialized suppliers, service providers and operate on competitive and cooperative dynamics. Keeping this in mind “Healthy Socks Cluster” has been designed by our AIC ALEAP We-Hub wherein, the startups are networked for their mutual advantage, yet operate independently.
Mrs. C. Sloka, Founder of M/s Sntia Care, Mrs. C. Sandhya, Founder of M/s Tejanvi, Mrs. V. Sreedevi, Founder of M/s Anantham, Mrs. B. Naga Mani, Founder of M/s Rodi’s, Mrs. T. Pallavi Joshi, Founder of M/s Golden Yarns and Ms. B. Deeksha , Founder of M/s Durga Maheshwara Enterprises were formed in to a cluster by us in the premises of ALEAP Industrial Estate, Pragathi Nagar with M/s AGS IMPEX Private Limited as a corporate partner for Mentorship, Designing skills, Marketing connects and Technical support. We have incubated these startups, by providing the necessary entrepreneurial skills and funding from Public Sector Banks like Canara Bank, Syndicate Bank, Allahabad Bank. Startups received subsidy under PMEGP scheme of Govt. of India and finishing unit is supported by our AIC.

His Excellency Mohammad Haghbin Ghomi, Consul General of Islam Republic of Iran, inaugurated the website of ALEIZONE, marketing wing of ALEAP. ALEAP, with its technology partner M/s TEKOPT, has started ALEIZONE, an E-Business Marketplace for women entrepreneurs. It is the first time ever, over 10,000 women are penetrating into Ecommerce world. ALEIZONE is for all those aspiring women from both rural and urban India, who dream to achieve network, explore and expand their business both onsite and online. M/s TEKOPT is a startup Incubated under 1st Cohort of AIC ALEAP We-Hub. TEKOPT is a product development & IT services firm based out of Hyderabad India, Specializing in MEAN stack technology and Mobility solutions.

Screening Committee Meeting for the selection of startups under the 2nd Cohort of Atal Incubation Centre ALEAP We-Hub was held on 26th November 2019 at AIC ALEAP We-hub, ALEAP Industrial estate, Hyderabad. The jury for the screening committee meeting consisted of Dr. Nandita Sethi, Chairperson, CII IWN, Hyderabad, Dr. Chowdhary, Asst. Director, MSME DI, Dr. Jyothirmayi, Principal Scientist, CFTRI, Dr. Sreedhara Voleti, CEO, BioNest, Mr. Balbheem Vaidya, AGM, SBI (LHO), Ms. Vijaya Lakshmi, CEO, Vindip India, Hyderabad, Ms. Sai Lakshmi, Chief Manager, SBI ( SME Branch). 25 startups have undergone the screening process out of which 14 innovative startups have been selected for physical incubation and 2 startups were selected for virtual incubation.
