100% Non-Polluting, Biodegradable and Compostable Materials

Composition of the products:Greenwave products are made from 85% cornstarch, 8% chitosan, and 7% edible additives (no petroleum polymers of any kind, such as polypropylene or polyethylene are used). These materials are 100% non-polluting, biodegradable and compostable.

Product Storage:Our products tolerate temperatures ranging from -20°C to 120°C, making them safe for use in the microwave, refrigerator and freezer alike. They must be stack-stored to prevent warping under their own weight, and must not come into contact with water at room temperature. If dampened, they can be air-dried immediately without affecting their quality. They withstand a relative humidity of up to 90% under low temperatures.

Degradation of the product:The optimal temperature for biodegrading is 25-28°C, with a relative humidity of 90%. The duration of degradation depends on the thickness of the product. As our products degrade completely, they return to the soil. Under natural conditions Greenwave products normally degrade into fragments within 3 months, and fully degrade within 1 year.Moreover, since they contain no pp content, burning the products does not release toxins or harm the environment.

Reliability:Recycling has become an added value, as well as a social responsibility, due to limited resources. Greenwave products are made from fast-growing maize and cover a wide variety of uses. Within three months they degrade into fragments, and totally degrade into a non-toxic, non-polluting residue within a year. After use, our disposable products make excellent compost, returning naturally to the environment.
