A walk in the bamboo forests can freshen you up; here, it’s very unlike the shanghai typical climate.

Did you know? Harvesting Bamboo takes two years; the first year, they cut the tall bamboos, and the second, they let the shorter bamboos grow. That way, we’re not overcutting on bamboos.

In Naked Retreats, not only will you find selective harvesting of bamboo, but also buildings that have been recycled as long as the furniture, tableware, inside it. Therefore, the carbon footprint is decreased. This also incorporates the sense of nature into the house.

Naked Retreats and their various houses have been using solar panels and water basins (watershed). The watershed typically begins when rain falls down it is collected in this huge water basin at the top of a mountain.

The water quality is still the same, but this is way better than the average American flushing 60 liters down a toilet per day.
