  • Paryavaran Mitra - A unique initiative!

    Green Hero -Mr.Deepak Ojha, Ms. Priya Nair and Mr.Tejinder Singh Heer

    Customer Relation Centre's team from Distribution have been applauded on the notional give-away concept of pledging to be a Paryavaran Mitr where Tata Power plants a tree on behalf of every consumer. This initiative has spread humongous awareness and garnered a great response from consumers and they have spoken very fondly about it.

    Great work!

    Team secured commitments from 980 Consumers for Pledging to protect the environment. Further, the Customer Management team also motivated 504 Consumers to register for E-bill and E-NACH.

  • Canopies for water protection using scrap!

    Mr. Vaibhav Grover

    Mr. Vaibhav Grover from IEL-PH#6 made canopies for water protection over manual call points of FDA system from scrap �re extinguisher cylinder. He made 40 canopies at various location.Good work!

    Green Hero: Mr. Paulo D'Souza

    Mr. Paulo D'Souza from Network Management team created awareness at one of the site at Aarey colony to resolve issue of generating paper scrap. Jointer crew had habit of throwing paper waste at working place. Mr. Paulo D'Souza made dustbin with scrap MS drum and empty gunny bag and asked crew to put scrap in dustbin. Great work!

    Mr. Satyabrat Barik and Mr. Snehasis Ray from Kalinganagar made Waste bin and scraper from scrape material for housekeeping.Kudos to Green Heroes!

  • Rescue of Pond Heron!

    Green hero:Mr. Mangesh Borkar

    Mr. Mangesh Borkar from Bhivpuri rescued an injured Pond Heron Bird. It was released in nearby habitat after recovery.Great work!

    Bene�ts:Waterbirds like Pond Herons can maintain the diversity of other organisms, control pests, be e�ective bioindicators of ecological conditions, and act as sentinels of potential disease outbreaks.

  • Saving Black Kite!

    Green Heroes:Mr. Jayant Bodhade, Mr. Pravin More and Mr. R R Kamath

    Team Trombay rescued an injured Black Kite in the company premises with the help of Non-pro�t Organisation Manav Abhyas Sangh.Good work!

    Bene�ts:The presence of raptors (like Black Kite) in the wild serves as a barometer of ecological health. Birds of prey are predators at the top of the food chain; because threats like pesticides, habitat loss, and climate change have the most dramatic impact on top predators, we refer to them as indicator species.

  • Junior Green Hero's Green Diwali

    Junior Green Heroes:Lavishka Tiwari, Arijit Mishra and Dhyaana Karelia

    Lavishka Tiwari, Daughter of Namrata Joshi made an ecofriendly lantern using Old card-board box, old gift wrapping paper.Arjit Mishra, 4.5 year old son of Ms. Vibha Parashar from CGPL �nance department made some decoration items with the guidance of his mother for Diwali from waste packing and gift papers.Dhyana Karelia, Daughter of Mr. Gautam Karelia made a Eco-friendly Lantern on this Diwali from old gift papers , boxes , strings and recyclable material. Kudos to our Junior Green Hero!

    Bene�ts:To maintain a healthy lifestyle, children should be educated in a positive way about the environ-ment in order to create a sense of consciousness and participation, and to help them acquire a knowledge of ecological principles aimed at ensuring a balance between the health of the individual, society, and the environment.
