Why not join us for coffee at MaxeyVillage Hall from 10.00 am onTuesday 21 January to meetmembers of our team and fellowcustomers for a social get-together?Les will be presenting his new filmshow about our 2014 Door-2-Door holidays at 10.45 am and othermembers of the team will be available to answer all your questions(and take bookings if you wish!). There’s no charge for refreshments or the presentation but if youwould then like to join us for lunch at Market Deeping’s RiverRestaurant, there will be a charge of £10 pp (prepaid to us) for a setlunch of fish & chips followed by a dessert and tea or coffee. We canaccommodate no more than 60 people for lunch so bookings are on afirst come, first served basis and you’ll need to let Sue know if youwant to stay on for lunch. (If you like, you can leave your car at Maxeyand we’ll provide coach transfers to and from the restaurant).

• Coach Seating Seat numbers are usually allocated in order ofbooking but two front seats are held for ‘Registered Disabled’passengers. • Departure Times During the journey, your driver will announcedeparture times from each stop. Please make sure you note thesedetails carefully as the driver will have to leave without you if you arelate, to avoid inconvenience to the other passengers. If that shouldhappen, we will not be liable for any costs you incur.

• Your Health You may wish to consult your doctor, before undertaking acoach journey of more than 3 hours, if you have ever had DVT orpulmonary embolism; a family history of clotting conditions; an inheritedtendency to clot; cancer, or treatment for cancer in the past; undergonemajor surgery in the last 3 months; had hip or knee replacement withinthe last 3 months; ever suffered from a stroke, heart or lung disease.

• Pets Assistance dogs are welcome on board our tours but other animalsare not allowed.

• Cancellations If you need to cancel your booking, you will need totelephone us first and then return your ticket(s) to us for any refund thatmay be due. Cancellations can only be accepted during office hoursand charges are determined from the time that the Firm receives writtennotification of the cancellation. We charge a fee to cover administrationand other costs and the following scale of charges will apply:

Please note in addition, no refund will be given for any prepaid meal,theatre ticket, admission charges, etc. which are included in the ticketprice and are not recoverable by us. On most tours, if your cancellationis made more than four weeks before departure, you may be able tochange your booking to another day tour on payment of a transfer fee of£1.50pp. You are also welcome to pass your ticket to a friend but it is agood idea to let us know of the change.

• We reserve the right to withdraw an excursion due to lack of support orcircumstances beyond our control. This rarely happens and cancellationwould usually be made no later than one week before departure. In suchcases your fare would be refunded in full and this would be the limit ofour liability.

• All arrangements made for meals, visits, theatre, etc., and for the use ofroad vehicles, trains, or any other means of conveyance operated bypersons or bodies other than ourselves, are made by us as agents forand on behalf of our passengers and on the express conditions thatwe will not be responsible for any loss, damage, injury, delays orinconvenience caused to or sustained by passengers other than by thenegligence of the Firm and its employees who are under the direct controlof the Firm. Any terms and conditions imposed by such other contractorsthrough the Firm shall be binding on the passengers as if they haddirectly contracted such services. The allocation of theatre and eventseats is at our discretion, maybe subject to change and specific locationscannot be guaranteed. Theatre castings always remain subject to changeand refunds will not be given in the event of anyone not appearing.

• Special Care for Disabled Customers Some excursions involve longjourneys and lengthy walking and some visitor attractions (especiallytheatres) may have steps and no lifts. We make a special effort to helpdisabled customers and if you tell us about your disability before youbook, it will help us to help you. Our drivers are happy to provide generalassistance but cannot provide help that extends to the bodily liftingand carrying of any passenger, nor to act as carers for any customer.On each tour, two front seats are reserved for the use of a RegisteredDisabled passenger and their companion. At your own risk, we arehappy to transport a limited number of wheelchairs, walkers andscooters, although we cannot be held responsible for any damage tothem and they cannot be secured in the luggage compartment. Due toHealth & Safety legislation, passengers must be wholly responsible forloading and unloading, assembling and dismantling their scooters (intono more than five pieces) and each piece must weigh less than 40 lbs.

• To comply with Health & Safety Regulations, any customer wishing toboard the coach with items other than normal hand luggage orsuitcases, must obtain authorisation from us at the time of booking.We reserve the right to refuse permission to board if we consider apassenger has any items or equipment that will be detrimental to thehealth and safety of our staff and/or other customers. Our drivers arenot allowed to take any action that may put at risk their health, safety,welfare or the legal requirements for a break in duty.

• Mobile Phones If you have to use a mobile whilst on the coach, pleasekeep your conversation as quiet and as brief as possible to avoiddistracting your driver and to minimise disturbance to other passengers.

• Complaints If you have a complaint during a tour, please inform ourdriver in the first instance and he/she will do his/her best to assist you.If you wish to make further representation on your return, please write tous within 21 days after the date of travel. We regret we cannot deal withany complaints received later than this time.
