The topic we were covering in our coursebook was called ‘Amazing Science’. We learned about famous inventors and their contributions, as well as Science and Technology where the emphasis was on how inventions and discoveries have helped people in their everyday lives. I thought that this would be a great opportunity for students to grow in their understanding of social networking and popular websites and learn something about these great innovators of our time. I also hope to inspire this internet generation to become leaders and make amazing positive changes in society. Each student was assigned a great innovator which they had to research and then create a ‘Facebook Profile’. I also included some up and coming innovators (two of which are under the age of 25) in order to motivate them.

I created my first prototype at age 18 in my parents’ garage in 2011, called CR1 and featuring a 90-degree field of view.
