  • RESPONSIBILITIESInvolves managing more than one design job at a time and allocating the relevant amount of time according to the value of the job. Typical activities include.

    PLAYBILL DESIGN/AD MANAGEMENT - Create and manage large scale playbill ( on average 56 page document ) 8 playbills per year - Collect wide range of content and translate into creation of playbill - Manage deadlines with Directors/Stage Managers for content - Manage ad placements in playbill and communication with trade parters - Work with printer on deadline/quotes /delivery - Manage proofing system to ensure no mistakes

    CIVIC MATERIALS - Creation of wide range of branded materials such as : season art, advertisements, brochures, xstands, postcards, envelopes, bookmarks, posters, window clings, development materials, school materials - Creation/management/print quoting of large scale printing/mailing projects - Scheduling and management of the headshots and promotional photos - Pull mailing lists/ work with printers on proper mail list editing

    WEB MANAGEMENT - Create, develop and manage content for organizations web presence (requires working with content management software) - Coordinate web projects across departments - Maintain a consistent look and feel throughout all web properties - Working with a cross-departmental team, maintain and develop the master content calendar for all web properties - Copyedit and proofread all web content - Track and report on all site metrics

    EBLAST CREATION/MANAGEMENT (MAILCHIMP) - Create eblast campaigns for all aspects of the theatre ( shows, development, school ) - Collect and proof read content - Manage email lists and importing to Mailchimp - Analyze campaigns, always trying to maximize results

    SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT (FACEBOOK - TWITTER - INSTAGRAM) - Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written) to reach Civics ideal customers. - Monitor, listen and respond to users in a Social way - Conduct online advocacy and open stream for cross-promotions. - Develop and expand outreach efforts. - Oversee design (ie: Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile) - Design, create and manage promotions and Social ad campaigns. - Compile report for management showing results (ROI). - Monitor trends in Social Media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy. - Report notable threats to appropriate management. - Analyze campaigns and translate data into recommendations and plans for revising the Social Media campaigns, always trying to maximize results - Civic Theatre awareness on community event calendars
