“Oral Health is a mirror to Systemic Health” Of late, most health careproviders overwhelmingly accept the concept that oral health is intimatelyrelated to systemic health. It is a well-known fact that some systemicdiseases have oral manifestations and that local oral disease may be relatedto an underlying systemic disorder. Recognizing that oral lesions may bethe initial presenting sign during early stages of systemic disease may allowmore efficient diagnosis of that underlying disorder. Under the umbrella ofsuch systemic disorders with oral presentation is the increasinglyrecognized entity characterized by persistent and/or recurrent labialenlargement, oral ulcers and a variety of other oro-facial features called as“Granulomatous Lesions”.

Dr. Bhuvan Nagpal is Consultant Oral Pathologist at Manglam Diagnostics,Hisar, India who has done MDS from JSS University, Mysuru, India in2016.He possesses good histopathology diagnostic acumen and has beenacknowledged with many prestigious honours, awards and scholarshipsfor his work.
