• 11 different grant program cycles a year• Over $1.0 million granted in FY2015 through these

cycles• Grants to 501(c)(3)s and government entities—

including schools

• Beginning with January deadlines, some will have an online application process, others will remain as is (download application and submit via email)

• Annual• $500 - $2,000• Staff, parents, or students

in Ashwaubenon School District must apply

• Targeted funding for:– Enrichment activities– Community involvement– Professional training

School Spirit Educational Endowment Funds

Green Bay Area Public School District must apply

Crime Prevention Foundation Fund

• Annual• $500 - $3,000• Diminishing crime in at least one of the following areas:

– Desire to commit the crime– Ability to commit the crime– Opportunity to commit the crime

• Deadline: May 1 annually• Funding amount open depending on scope and idea

(typically between $5,000 and $20,000)• For programs that support individuals age 60 and over,

who live primarily north of Sturgeon Bay, Door County.• Help them remain healthy and independent in their

– Collaboration – Program improvement, filling identified gaps or changes in needs– Not funding ongoing operations of single organizations– Special attention to programs serving Kewaunee and/or Oconto

counties

Community-identified priorities:– Education (ABC)– Workforce Development (ABC)– Addressing Root Causes of Poverty (Basic Needs Giving

Partnership)– Girls ages 9-15 to help them avoid/overcome low self-esteem,

develop leadership skills, learn to set goals, etc.

• Other 50% to other fields of interest:– Arts & Culture– Environment & Conservation– Community Improvement– Health and Human Services– Youth Development– Any worthy charitable cause will be considered!

The Women’s Fund of Greater Green Bay

• Bi-annual (January and July)• Current Focus: Girls ages 9-15• Brown, Kewaunee and Oconto counties. • Collaborations among organizations, a plus. • Focus may change every few years.• Contact: Martha Ahrendt

Basic Needs Giving Partnership (1)

• 3 Types of Collaborative Grants available: – Planning– Single or Multi-Year Collaborative– Regional Collaborative (Oshkosh area up to Green Bay)

• Purpose of this fund is to:– Address root causes of poverty– Support long-term visions/solutions to move people out of

poverty– Assist those with limited capacity, such as the low-income

elderly or significantly disabled to maintain a stable, dignified quality of life.

– Help un/under-insured sustain higher quality of life by preventing or reducing acute and long-term care crisis.

– Register as a grants administrator. 1) Create your profile and verify registration.2) Connect with your organization.The foundation will confirm your role in 1-2
