SAFETY MEASURES

● Remove the plug

● Turn off the water inlet tap.

● All Candy appliances areearthed. Ensure that themain electricity circuit isearthed. Contact a qualifiedelectrician if this is not thecase.

Appliance complieswith European Directives73/23/EEC and 89/336/EEC,replaced by 2006/95/EC and2004/108/EC, andsubsequent amendments.

● Do not touch theappliance with wet or damphands or feet.

● Do not use the appliancewhen bare-footed.

● Extreme care should betaken if extension leads areused in bathrooms or showerrooms. Avoid this wherepossible.

WARNING: DURING THE WASHING CYCLE, THE WATER CAN REACH A TEMPERATURE OF 90°C.

● Before opening thewashing machine door,ensure that there is no waterin the drum.

SETTING UPINSTALLATION

Move the machine near itspermanent position withoutthe packaging base.

Carefully cut the securingstrap that holds the maincord and the drain hose.

Remove the 2 or 4 fixingscrews marked (A) andremove the 2 or 4 spacersmarked (B)

Cover the 2 or 4 holes usingthe caps provided in theinstruction booklet pack.

WARNING:DO NOT LEAVE THEPACKAGING IN THEREACH OF CHILDRENAS IT IS A POTENTIALSOURCE OF DANGER.

Atentie: Masina de spalat seinstaleaza de catre uninstalator profesionist, dar nuintra in obligatia centruluiservice autorizat sa facaaceasta instalare in termende garantie, in regim gratuit.

Atentie: Reteaua dvs.electrica trebuie sa poatasuporta puterea maxima amasinii. In caz contrar,inlocuiti cablurile dealimentare sau sigurantelecu unele de amperajcorespunzator (16A).

Atentie: In cazul sistemelorproprii de alimentarecu apa, presiunea apeitrebuie sa fie suficient demare pentru a dizolva totdetergentul din sertarul dedetergent. In caz contrar, sepot produce blocari alesertarului de detergent, sauale furtunului dintre cuvasi sertarul de detergent.

Dupa ce ati scos ambalajul,faceti in felul urmator:

Taiati cu atentie curelele careleaga cablul de alimentare sifurtunul de evacuare.

Indepartati cele 2 sau 4suruburi marcate cu A si cele2 sau 4 distantatoaremarcate cu B.

Acoperiti cele 2 sau 4 gaurifolosind capacele furnizate inpunga cu manuale deinstructiuni.

Use the 4 feet to level themachine with the floor:

a) Turn the nut clockwise torelease the screw adjuster ofthe foot.

b) Rotate foot to raise orlower it until it stands firmly onthe ground.

c) Lock the foot in positionby turning the nut anti-clockwise until it comes upagainst the bottom of themachine.

Ensure that the knob is on the“OFF” position and the loaddoor is closed

Insert the plug.

ATTENTION:should it be necessary toreplace the supply cord,connect the wire inaccordance with thefollowing colours/codes:

Fix the sheet of corrugatedmaterial on the bottom asshown in picture.

Connect the fill hose to the tap.

The appliance must beconnected to the watermains using new hose-sets.The old hose-sets should notbe reused.

IMPORTANT:DO NOT TURN THE TAP ON AT THIS TIME.

Position the washingmachine next to the wall.Hook the outlet tube to theedge of the bath tub,paying attention that thereare no bends orcontractions along the tube.

It is better to connect thedischarge hose to a fixedoutlet of a diameter greaterthan that of the outlet tubeand at a height of min. 50cm. If is necessary to use theplastic sleeve supplied.

To open the door turn thehandle as shown in thepicture.A special safety deviceprevents the door from beingopened immediately afterthe end of the cycle.2 minutes after the end of thewash the light goes off toshow that the door can nowbe opened.

PROGRAMME SELECTOR WITHOFF POSITION

WHEN THE PROGRAMMESELECTOR IS TURNED THEDISPLAY LIGHTS UP TO SHOWTHE SETTINGS FOR THEPROGRAMME SELECTED.FOR ENERGY SAVING, AT THEEND OF THE CYCLE OR WITHAN INACTIVITY PERIOD, THEDISPLAY LEVEL CONTRASTWILL DECREASE.N.B. TO SWITCH THEMACHINE OFF, TURN THEPROGRAMME SELECTOR TOTHE “OFF” POSITION.

BUTTONS INDICATOR LIGHT

These light up when therelevant buttons are pressed.If an option is selected that isnot compatible with theselected programme thenthe light on the button firstflashes and then goes off.

The option buttons should beselected before pressing theSTART button

“AQUAPLUS” BUTTONBy pressing this button youcan activate a special newwash cycle in the Colourfastand Mixed Fabrics programs,thanks to the new SensorSystem. This option treats withcare the fibres of garmentsand the delicate skin of thosewho wear them.The load is washed in a muchlarger quantity of water andthis, together with the newcombined action of the drumrotation cycles, where water isfilled and emptied, will giveyou garments which havebeen cleaned and rinsed toperfection. The amount ofwater in the wash is increasedso that the detergentdissolves perfectly, ensuring anefficient cleaning action. Theamount of water is alsoincreased during the rinseprocedure so as to remove alltraces of detergent from thefibres.This function has beenspecifically designed forpeople with delicate andsensitive skin, for whom even avery small amount ofdetergent can cause irritationor allergy.You are advised to also usethis function for children’sclothing and for delicatefabrics in general, or whenwashing garments made oftowelling, where the fibrestend to absorb a greaterquantity of detergent. Toensure the best performancefor your wash, this function isalways activated on theDelicates andWoollens/Handwashprograms.

BUTON “AQUAPLUS”

Apasand acest buton seactiveaza un ciclu specialde spalare, nou pentrugama tesaturile mixte si cuculori sensibile, datoritanoului sistem "Sensor System".Rufele sunt spalate intr-ocantitate mai mare de apasi aceasta, impreuna cuactiunea combinata arotatiilor tamburului, ceumple si scoate apa, vaface caq rufele sa fiespalate si clatite foarte bine.Cantitatea sporita de apace este folosita in timpulspalarii canduce la odizolvare mai buna adetergentului. Cantitatea deapa este de asemeneamarita si in timpul procesuluide clatire eliminand astfelorice urma de detergent depe fibre. SPIN SPEED BUTTON

The spin cycle is veryimportant to remove asmuch water as possible fromthe laundry withoutdamaging the fabrics.Youcan adjust the spin speed ofthe machine to suit yourneeds.By pressing this button, it ispossible to reduce themaximum speed, and if youwish, the spin cycle can becancelled.To reactivate the spin cycleis enough to press thebutton until you reach thespin speed you would like toset.For not damage the fabrics,it is not possible to increasethe speed over thatautomatically suitableduring the selection of theprogram.

It is possible to modify thespin speed in any moment,also without to pause themachine.

NOTE:THE MACHINE IS FITTEDWITH A SPECIALELECTRONIC DEVICE,WHICH PREVENTS THESPIN CYCLE SHOULD THELOAD BE UNBALANCED.THIS REDUCES THE NOISEAND VIBRATION IN THEMACHINE AND SOPROLONGS THE LIFE OFYOUR MACHINE.

BUTON “PORNIRE INTARZIATA”

Acest buton permite setareaprogramului de spalare sainceapa cu o intarziere demaxim 24 de ore.Pentru a intarzia pornireaprogramului, utilizatiprocedura urmatoare:Setati programul dorit.Apasati butonul o data (peafisaj va apare mesajul h00)apoi apasati din nou pentrua seta o intarziere de 1 ora(pe afisaj va apare mesajulh01); intarzierea presetatamareste timpul cu cate 1 orade fiecare data cand esteapasat butonul, pana candpe afisaj apare mesajul h24,moment in care la o altaapasare a butonului, se vaporni de la zero.

Confirmati cu ajutorulbutonului “START/PAUSE”(indicatoarele luminoase depe afisaj vor incepe saclipeasca). Numaratoareava incepe iar la finalizareaacesteia, programul va porniautomat.

Este posibil sa anulatipornirea intarziata prinrealizarea urmatoareloractiuni:Apasati ti tineti apasatbutonul timp de 5 secundepana cand pe afisaj vorapare setarile pentruprogramul selectat.

COLD WASH BUTTON

By pressing this button it ispossible to transform everyprogramme into a coldwashing one, withoutmodifying othercharacteristics (water level,times, rythmes, etc...).Curtains, small carpets, manmade delicate fabrics, noncoulor fast garments can besafely washed thanks to thisnew device.

“DELAY START” BUTTONThis button allows you to pre-programme the wash cycleto delay the start of thecycle for up to 24 hours. To delay the start use thefollowing procedure:Set the required programme.Press the button once toactivate it (h00 appears onthe display) and then press itagain to set a 1 hour delay(h01 appears on the display);the pre-set delay increasesby 1 hour each time thebutton is pressed, until h24appears on the display, atwhich point pressing thebutton again will reset thedelay start to zero.

Confirm by pressing the“START/PAUSE” button (thelight on the display starts toflash). The countdown willbegin and when it hasfinished the programme willstart automatically.

It is possible to cancel thedelay start by taking thefollowing action:Press and hold the button for5 seconds until the displaywill show the settings for theprogramme selected.At this stage it is possible tostart the programmepreviously selected bypressing the “START/PAUSE”button or to cancel theprocess by setting theselector to the OFF positionand then selecting anotherprogramme.

The display’s indicatorsystem allows you to beconstantly informed aboutthe status of the machine:

1 RESISTANTS FABRICSThe programmes have beendesigned for a maximumwash and the rinses, withspin intervals, ensure perfectrinsing.The final spin gives moreefficient removal of water.

2 MIXED AND SYNTHETICFABRICS The main wash and the rinsegives best results thanks tothe rotation rhythms of thedrum and to the waterlevels.A gentle spin will mean thatthe fabrics become lesscreased.

FILTER CLEANINGThe washing-machine isequipped with a special filterto retain large foreign matterwhich could clog up thedrain, such as coins, buttons,etc. These can, therefore,easily be recovered. Theprocedures for cleaning thefilter are as follows:

● Open the flap

● Only available on certainmodels:Pull out the corrugated hose,remove the stopper anddrain the water into acontainer.

● Before removing the filter,place an absorbent towelbelow the filtercap to collect the smallamount of water likely to beinside the pump

● Turn the filter anticlockwisetill it stops in vertical position.

● Remove and clean.

● After cleaning, replace byturning the notch on the endof the filter clockwise. Thenfollow all proceduresdescribed above in reverseorder.

REMOVALS OR LONG PERIODSWHEN THE MACHINE IS LEFTSTANDING

For eventual removals orwhen the machine is leftstanding for long periods inunheated rooms, the drainhose should be emptied ofall remaining water.

The appliance must beswitched off and unplugged.A bowl is needed. Detachthe drainage hose from theclamp and lower it over thebowl until all the water isremoved.

Repeat the same operationwith the water inlet hose.

In cazul in care mutati masinadin loc sau aceasta ramaneneutilizata mult timp in locurineincalzite, este necesar sa segoleasca in intregime de apatoate tuburile.Cu masina deconectata de laretea, se lasa tubul deevacuare in jos si se asteaptasa iasa toata apa.

La final se repeta operatia insens invers.

following effects:- The discharge rinse water may result cloudier due to the presence of zeolites in

suspension. This does not compromise the efficiency of the rinses.- The presence of white powder (zeolites) on the washing at the end of the washing

cycle. This does not remain incorporated in the fabric and does not alter the colour.- The presence of foam in the last rinse water which is not necessarily a sign of

inadequate rinsing.- The non-ionic surface-active agents present in the composition of washing

machine detersives are often difficult to remove from the washing itself and, even insmall quantities, may produce visible signs of the formation of foam.

- Carrying out further rinses, in cases such as this, is not useful.2If your washing machine fails to function, carry out the above-mentioned checks
