GRAND KNIGHT‘S MESSAGE

Brother Knights. In a few days 2018 will soon come to a close. In my December 2018 message I did mention that Cavallaro Council will have a busy month. I’m please to share with you all everything was successfully done. Many thanks to the many chairpersons involved. My vision for 2019 Cavallaro Council must begin with a New Year’s resolution. The council

needs to prioritize council spending. The council needs to get more backbone finding ways to have ongoing fund raisers, unlike other district councils, who have greater diversification of revenue to do more Charitable giving. I would like to see our council members return so you can help participate in the 2019 initiative planning. There will be many events to plan for, and new ideas would be a plus coming from you. The council is still having issues with the snail mailing of our monthly bulletins. I encourage you to visit our Council Website and make copies for those without computer access at home to keep them abreast on council news and activities. Just a reminder, anyone interested in taking the 4th Degree will be held on March 31, 2019 at Russo’s On the Bay. Please contact PGK, James LaSalle or PGK Bob Vezzuso, as soon as possible. and the order is important to the work we do and what we stand for. The more members on our roles means a louder voice in standing up for the religious freedoms that we enjoy. There are constant attacks on the Catholic religion and a movement to try and silence us. We will not remain silent and your membership adds volume to our voice. on the streets. Your annual dues cannot support these

efforts, but our insurance members do when they

purchase a policy. Even a small policy helps our causes

Thessalonians 5:2 "The Lord will come like a thief in the

we not prepare for him? We should prepare for the time
