All seams 1/4”. Sew fabrics RIGHT sides together. Fabric Requirements: White Floral- 1 3/8 yards White Solid- 1/4 yard Pink Floral- 5/8 yard Assorted pinks for blocks- scraps or fat quarters, OR you can use 20 charm squares Assorted greens for blocks- scraps or fat quarters, OR you can use 20 charm squares Backing fabric- 3 yards Batting- 51 x 59” Cutting Instructions: White Floral

• Cut (4) 6 3/8” wide wof strips. Cut these strips into (20) 6 3/8” squares for blocks. • Cut (5) 4” wide wof strips (borders)

White Solid • Cut (4) 1 1/2” wide wof strips (borders)

Pink Floral • Cut (5) 1 1/2” wide wof strips (borders) • Cut (5) 2 1/2” wide wof strips (binding)

Assorted Pinks (if not using charm squares) • Cut (20) 5” squares

Assorted Greens (if not using charm squares) • Cut (20) 5” squares

Making the blocks: Cut the assorted pink and green squares in half diagonally to yield a total of 80 triangles. Referring to tutorial listed at top of page, sew a pink triangle to either side of each floral square, being sure that triangles are accurately centered. Press seams toward triangles.

Sew a green triangle to remaining sides of floral squares. Press seams toward triangles. Blocks should measure 8 3/4” (8 1/4” finished size.) Sew blocks into 5 rows of 4 blocks each. The pink triangles should be facing the same way for each block. Sew the rows together to make quilt top. Adding the borders: Borders are calculated mathematically. Please measure across the center of your quilt before cutting borders and adjust border length accordingly. Press seams toward borders. Border #1- White

• Cut 2 of the wof strips to 41 3/4” and sew to sides of quilt. • Cut remaining 2 wof strips to 35 1/2” and sew to top and bottom of quilt.

Border #2- Pink Floral

• Sew 3 of the 1 1/2” wide wof strips together into one long strip. From this long strip, cut 2 strips which are 43 3/4” and sew to sides of quilt.

• Cut remaining (2) 1 1/2” wide strips to 37 1/2” long and sew to top and bottom of quilt. Border #3- White Floral

• Sew the (5) wof strips together into one long strip. • From this strip, cut 2 strips which are 45 3/4” long and sew to sides of quilt. • From remaining long pieced strip, cut strips which are 44 1/2” long and sew to top and bottom

of quilt. Quilt as desired. Bind with Pink Floral fabric.
