He spent two years working as the Assistant Site Supervisor at Carmel Elementary. At the end of the school year last year, he became the Site Supervisor for Smoky Row Elementary. He looks forward to building relationships with the kiddos this year. Mr. Cecil’s passions include traveling, all sports and the great outdoors. Fun Fact: Mr. Cecil is a dual citizen – British and US! Felicia Diaz, Assistant Site Supervisor Felicia began working for Carmel Clay Parks during the summer of 2018 at the Summer Experience camp as the Assistant Supervisor. This will be her third year at Smoky Row Elementary, and she is so excited to see all the familiar faces, children and parents alike. Before arriving at ESE, Felicia went to the American Academy of Art for a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art, and then she was an art teacher for four years. Fun Fact: Felicia has her own zoo at home with four cats and a pet lizard. Moniece Jones, Head Counselor Moniece has been a Kid Counselor at Smoky Row Elementary for the past two years. She also spent a summer working at Summer Experience camp. This school year, Ms. Jones has been promoted to Head Counselor, and we are so excited to see her in her new role this school year. Before arriving at ESE, Moniece went to Indiana State and majored in psychology. Fun Fact: Moniece’s favorite color is purple!

Isaiah Hernandez, Kid Counselor Isaiah began working for ESE last year at Smoky Row Elementary. He worked over the summer at Camp FIRE, which took place at the JPP. He loves building relationships with the kiddos and enjoys being a mentor. Fun Fact: Isaiah moved here from California, and did not buy his first winter coat until he came to Indiana!

McKenzie Hawkins, Kid Counselor McKenzie became a Kid Counselor for the first time at a camp named Play On. This will be her second year at Smoky Row Elementary. She also worked over the summer at Camp FIRE at the Monon Center. She is looking forward to seeing the kiddos again! Fun Fact: McKenzie can sing and likes to write stories!

Eliza Eichenberger, Kid Counselor This is Eliza’s second year working at ESE at Smoky Row Elementary, and she is a senior at Westfield High School. Last school year, she was part of a program called co-op where she could work a job during the school hours, and she decided to work as a kid counselor with us. She is looking forward to running craft activities with the kiddos this year! Fun Fact: Eliza is a cheerleader for Westfield High School, and she went to Africa on a summer trip!

Casey Horn, Kid Counselor Casey began working for ESE as a Kid Counselor at College Wood Elementary during the ’17-’18 school year. Last year she moved to Smoky Row as a sub, and is very happy to be back for this school year! Fun Fact: Casey is in grad school, studying Communication Disorders at Indiana State University to become a Speech Language Pathologist.

Jasmine Hazelwood, Kid Counselor This is Miss Hazelwood’s third year at ESE. Before coming to Smoky Row Elementary, she was a Kid Counselor for Cherry Tree and Town Meadow’s ESE program. During the day, she is an Instructional Assistant for TM’s Life Skills program. She loves traveling and her favorite place is Tennessee. Fun Fact: Miss Hazelwood is one of 19 grandchildren.

Lily Green, Kid Counselor Lily began working as a Kid Counselor for ESE at art camp in the summer of ’18. She has worked at Smoky Row Elementary for the past two years. Lily graduated from Carmel High School last school year. Lily was once an ESE kiddo herself and loves spending time with Smoky Row’s students. Fun Fact: Lily’s favorite food is cheese!

Victoria Koehl, Kid Counselor Victoria began working for Play On camp two summers ago as a Kid Counselor. She is attending Ball State University year with the intentions of getting a degree in Elementary Education. She is looking forward to working with Smoky Row kids again this school year! Fun Fact: For one week of the year, Victoria and her younger brother are the same age!
