Financial Aid Available to Graduate Students:

Financial Aid 101

• FAFSA.gov - the only application needed for federal and institutional aid.

• FAU’s priority deadline is January 1st.

• Graduate students are generally offered unsubsidized loans.

• $20,500 maximum per academic year.

• Students must enroll half-time to receive aid (5 credits in fall/spring, 3 credits in summer).

• Must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress Requirements (3.0 GPA and 67% completion rate).

• Students can only be awarded aid (loans, waivers, scholarships) up to their “cost of attendance.”

• Submit two copies of this application and one copy of a revised program sheet to Jordan Parks, Graduate College, SU 80, Room 101.

• Applications are due by Thursday, November 30, 2017, by 5:00 p.m. Late applications will not be accepted.

• Programs will be notified of their awards by January, 2018.
