Public Health, M.P.H. The mission of the UWF Master of Public Health program is to empower a generation of public health professionals with skills, knowledge, and competencies to contribute creatively and ethically to education, research, and service to promote public health and disease prevention. The MPH degree is the most widely recognized professional credential for leadership in public health. The program core courses provide students with a background in environmental health, epidemiology, social and behavioral sciences, biostatistics, and health care policy and administration

The MPH is an extremely valuable degree which is increasing in value in the public health job market due to huge projected retirements in the field and to dramatic increases in public health problems created by rising human population and environmental degradation in the developing world. The University of West Florida is going on-line with their MPH in order to provide opportunities for people worldwide wishing to work in public health/allied health.
