GRADING
There are ample ways to be successful in my class
Quizzes, homework, class work: count onceTests: count twiceProjects: count as 2 test gradesHomework: 10% of the grade--------------------Retakes are not a usual option{exception,
one at the end of each trimester—must restudy and take}
EXTRA HELP
Wednesdays (other days are also an option—student should check with me)
--------------------------------------------Extra Credit: Not meant for those who do not keep up with expected work: It is offered on occasion and counts in many
different ways. I collect points for the trimester which can be used on a low quiz grade.
HOMEWORK: "Decimals have a point."
•Given on a regular basis, even weekends•42 minutes is NOT enough time to master concepts with enough practice•Often prepares them for asking the right questions in class and for identifying their own areas of need.
Where to find the homework:
1)Homework is listed online: under the Madison Web site [under teacher web sites] and 1)Finally, under Grade 7, Team 32) The text book is online and students were given access codes
Homework may change and not be updated on the web until later on…First line of defense is, and always will be, the AGENDA PAD…
------------------------------------
Mrs. Zuk has a monthly challenge that earns extra credit points: 3MP and students can find it on her web site.
