Graduation Requirements
What You Need to Graduate:
A minimum of 80 credits (4 credits = one course)
48 credits are from required courses
28 credits are from elective courses
4 credits Graduation Transition Plan (GTP)

Graduation Transition Plan
(GTP) Consists of three parts:
1.Healthy living plan
150 minutes/week of physical exercise
Nutrition/stress management
2. Community Connections
30 hours of paid work or community service
Reflection
3.Transition Plan
Post-secondary options/plan
Resume, references, goal-setting, financial plan
Exit Interview determines RM (Requirement Met)

Honour Roll in Grade 12
In order to qualify for each term’s Honour
Roll Grade 12 students must have at least 3
classes each term with a minimum average of
73%. No mark can be below a C (60%).
Grade 12 students must have sufficient credits
to graduate to be eligible for the Honour Roll.

Post Secondary Institutions (PSI)
Selections Form Students can provide their transcript information to a number
of Post Secondary Institutions (across Canada) electronically through the Student Transcripts Service.
STEP 1: Go to the http://www.StudentTranscripts.gov.bc.ca
STEP 2: Students must register for a BC Government account, a BCeID.
STEP 3: Students then are able to access their Dashboard and make Post Secondary institution selections and much more!
Students can have up to 25 complementary transcripts.
This website will be available later in October. Please do not leave this until the last minute.

Tips for Scholarship and
Bursary Applications
1. Read the applications carefully each scholarship
has unique requirements, deadlines and specific
criteria. It is important that you do exactly what the
instructions say and provide the documentation
required.
2. DO NOT miss the deadlines.
3.Proofread your application.
4. Give teachers and counsellors at least 3 weeks to
complete your Reference letters.
