Grada International NV, established in1963, is a well-known brand in the world of ventilation and air conditioning.

The production plant in Lokeren has developed a vast array of products in steel and aluminium: wall grilles, floor grilles, gril-les for ductwork, swirl, slot and multi-directional diffusers, chilled beams, louvres, valves and VAV terminal boxes. Additi-onally, many other accessories are available such as grille and duct dampers, plenum boxes and silencers.

More than 22.000 products are produced, starting from sheet steel or aluminium extrusions and ending with the painted and packed finished product. Manufacturing is well supported by an on-site tooling workshop and by the test laboratory where flow characteristics and noise ratings are established in accordance with ISO 3741 and ISO 3743.

Our most important mission is that our customers see us as an innovative and reliable company. The comprehensive pro-duct range continues to grow as new products are developed in response to changing market conditions. Our close working relationship with our customers allows us to keep up with any development in the aeraulic’s market.

Technical know-how, investment in product methods & deve-lopment, flexibility and customer service are the foundations of our competitive force. The technical air laboratory has been equipped with a new climate control installation and the ne-west measuring & control technology. Our machinery has been thoroughly updated and we have evolved towards a CNC and a semi-automated working environment.

Our full range of products provides excellent technical soluti-ons to meet any need in air diffusion. The quality of GRADA pro-ducts has been proven for decades; they have been installed in many modern and representative buildings throughout Europe & other parts of the world. Therefore Grada’s mission is to be a specialist and an important actor in products and systems who control and pilot the air comfort in interiors.

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENTThe R&D department concentrates on the development of new products and improving existing ones. With mo-dern, well-equipped facilities such as our laboratories , CAD and CFD tools the products can also be modified in line with specific project requirements where necessary. The test laboratories where the air flows and noise levels are measured work according to standard ISO 3741 for the acoustic aspect and NBN-EN-13141 for the technical air measurements. The chilled beams have Eurovent certifi-cation and are tested according to standard EN 15116.

VIRTUAL LAB

PRODUCTIONOur products are being manufactured in the plant in Lokeren Belgium. Starting from sheet steel or extruded aluminium to ultimately obtain a finished, coated and packaged product. Production is supported by a die workshop. The machine-ry is continuously upgraded, while over the years Grada has evolved to become a CNC-controlled and semi-automatic wor-king environment.

This allows us to deliver tailor made high quality products in as short as 8 working days, which is unmatched in the industry.

POWDER COATINGGrada International invested heavily to increase powder coa-ting capabilities, allowing quick color changeovers and highly varying product dimensions, while still offering a high quality surface finish.

COATING

Air Comfort Systems: simultaneously working with water and air means these systems ensure optimal comfort everywhere in the room, with chilled beams being the most important products.

Air Behaviour Systems: these systems control the air quantity, air pressure and air temperature to the room, with among other things variable flow controllers (constant and variable) and air duct valves.

Air Outlet Systems: these type of systems determine how the climatised and ventilated air is brought inside and distributed in the comfort zone.
