The Cost

My dad and I went to the grocery store and researched the prices of the ingredients. We then figured out the cost of how much a batch of cookies would be. Our cookies cost $10.37 for a batch of 50 cookies. We then divided the total cost by the number of cookies. Our cost per cookie is 21 cents.

I am selling my cookies for $1.00 each. After I subtract my cost of ingredients, I will make 79 cents per cookie. I have 40 cookies to sell. If I sell all 40 cookies, I will make $31.00 profit.
