About......

After years supporting and growing profit margins for larger businesses, I felt empty and demotivated by the end result. I decided I would like to offer my insights and experience to those who were at the start of their business life cycle. I offered to work with the Princes Trust, as Talent match mentor. This appealed to my entrepreneurial side, as I am very creative and able to find ideas where only brick walls appear. Also my inherent need to nurture, invest myself and produce tangible results was met. I remember wishing that I could be paid to do that. So I made a new years resolution that January to find a job I loved so much I would secretley do for free (Ssshhhhh!)

At the time, I had begun freelancing offering business support to new and start up businesses locally. With the high level of positivity and enthusiasm I bought with me, I was able to make a real impact on the fortunes of these businesses. Breaking new territories for a cleaning company, finding new products and demographics for a beauty business. Being a lone M.D can be isolating and frustrating. Many are talented individuals but with little real life business experience. I did this because it made my soul smile. When you find the role that lights you up, that flexes every ounce of grey matter, challenges you and makes use of all the knowledge you have built up, you then understand what the phrase "rewarding" means. I thought you had to be a doctor or a saviour type to have a "rewarding" job, but not so. Anything that makes you glow inside and benefits others, anytime you generate a mutually beneficial relationship, you get to feel rewarded.

I am now hoping to build up my reputation for short term succesful project work across the South East, so I can finally get paid to do something I love, that benefits others.
