A big THANK YOU to all who made our
Advent and Christmas celebrations so
joyous: our Advent preachers Rev’d Dr.
Anne Natoli and Rev’d Paul Stallsworth
(Whiteville UMC); Advent Luncheon cooks;
Vestry members who prepared the Christmas
Eve reception; the “Deans men” who set up
the tree; the Altar and Flower Guilds who
worked so hard to decorate the sanctuary; all
those who purchased, wrapped and delivered
gifts for our Christmas families; those who
organized Grace Family Night Pizza and
Present Wrapping Party; and, of course,
Jamie Faulk and the choir who provided us
with such lovely music throughout the
season. Special thanks to Paula Blanchard
and Elsie Campbell (Fellowship) and Kay
Horne (Outreach) for organizing our many
December events.
Your new vestry members: Paula
Blanchard and Alice Murphy will begin their
three-year terms in January 2015. They will
be installed on Sunday, January 18 at 9:30.
We appreciate greatly the leadership
provided by Jackie Brooks while she was
here and are pleased Paula Blanchard has
returned for a repeat term.

(Thank you to Ray and Donna Thigpen for helping
defray the cost!) Also, new under-cabinet lighting

Unfortunantely, another leak has been reported in

GREEN trash can in the kitchen for
recycling purposes. Please place all paper,
cardboard, plastic cups & dishes (check for
the recycling triangle symbol), foil trays,
