Help Needed in Our Childrens Ministry :

Jesus said, Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the

kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these. ~ Matthew 19:14

We are in need of some more help with our Sunday morning and Wednesday

night childrens ministry. We minister to children from babies all the way up to4

thgrade! Each week it seems like more and more

children are coming. This is terrific! But we also need

additional help from our church family. If you are

nterested in helping please let Pastor Heath know.

Here are several great reasons to get involved in the Childrens Ministry:

Many of the children from the neighborhood around our church come onWednesday evenings and Sunday mornings. Helping in a classroom or

nursery is wonderful opportunity for our church to reach out.

Serving in the Childrens Ministry is a great way to meet new people atchurch and become better connected to the ministry and heartbeat of the

church.

Loving and serving children is close to the heart to of God (Matthew 19:14).God is just as concerned for the welfare and Christian growth of our young

children as he is adults. Getting involved in the classrooms and/or nurseriesis a special way to display Gods love to others.

Upcoming and Current Outreaches:Pack-A-Sack at Mildred Helms Elementary

Pack-A-Sack is a ministry to help feed disadvantaged children (from Mi

Helms Elementary School, in our local area) over the weekend. These chi

receive meals from their school during the week; but the schools social wo

pinpoints the children who frequently don't have food over the weekend and

sacks, full of about 12 to 14 healthy snacks, are designated for them.

throughout the school year, we need prepackaged snacks healthy snack

always preferred. The snacks must be sealed and ready to eat. (No cookin

preparing required.) We are providing snacks weekly for 25+ children this

Mentorship at Mildred Helms Elementary

Mildred Helms has asked us for help with mentoring some of their children

you have some time to read and talk with a child who could use s

encouragement and love? What a great opportunity to serve our comm

with the love of Christ! Please see Pastor Randy for more details.

Pinellas Hope Dinner Outreach Oct. 2nd

Pinellas Hope is a temporary shelter for homeless men and women. The resid

may sleep undisturbed, take a shower, have a place to keep their per

belongings, and have 3 meals of day. On Oct. 2nd

, well be purchasing, prepa

transporting, and serving dinner for over 200 residents. This is a wond

opportunity to show the love of Christ to those less fortunate and in nee

Information Meeting for Grace Church

Church Birth Project of GCF:In case you didnt hear, GCF is pregnant! (Pregnant with a

daughter church that is.) For those interested in finding out

more about GCFs plan to birth a new church in the northern

part of the county, we will be having an information meeting

on Tuesday, October 11th

at 7pm.

The purpose of this meeting will be to answer questions

about our plans and, for those who are interested, to hear
