"In my walk with Christ, I find myself very stale in my relationship with Christ. I mean I feel distant when I worship, I feel distant when I pray, and Scripture doesn't seem to sink in. When it happens, what do I do to get back to where I want to be in my relationship with Christ?"


"We say that "The title of 'senior pastor' in today's church has in many ways betrayed the intent of the Biblical role of a pastor/elder/bishop within the leadership of the modern church." Still, whenever I run across the term "pastor" in Scripture, I always think of the senior pastor of a church. I know this definition in my mind is cultural--but what is its definition when used in Scripture? Specifically, I read Ephesians 4:11-12, and it seemed quite natural to me to fit "senior pastor" in where "pastor" goes. So what was Paul talking about when he said "pastor"? Was it a job like Paul's? Or, was it stationary, with a certain church? Where did this "pastor" job fall in the hierarchy of the early church, and how has the church historically moved away from that blueprint?"


During the Baptisms last week, why was there no mention of receiving the gift of Holy Spirit through baptism as outlined in Acts 2:38? Also, where in the Bible does it mention baptism being a public profession of faith?


OK... The Bible says that those who believe in Christ will have everlasting life but it also speaks of God’s chosen people. So, could I be saved and yet not be chosen? I always wondered what if you get to heaven and I lived my life as a Christian and God says I was not one of the chosen people.


Husbands are to be the “head of the household.” But, what is a wife has a disagreement with their husband’s decision that may affect their children and ultimately their family as a whole? How does a wife support their husband’s decision even when she disagrees?


How can you tell the difference between God’s will for my life and my will that I think is God’s will?


What is the most effective way to witness to people that do not believe or “buy-into” II Tim. 3:16? Currently, I try to support why the Bible is infallible and reaffirms itself (i.e. the Old Testament supporting the New Testament, many authors over a long period of time that confirms the author, etc.). Now with the new thoughts regarding the Gnostic Book and the DaVinci code, etc., more and more people don’t know the facts, etc.


What responsibility do we have in holding other churches/Christian organizations accountable for actions that are unbiblical?
