Grace realizes that truerepentance takesresponsibility to rebuildtrust in those who havebeen negativelyaffected by the failure.

Grace does not meanwe focus our ministrytoward people in crisis,nor does it mean weallow peoples problemsto consistently hurtthose around them.

Whom We Celebrate High achievers andthose who areoutwardly successful.

Those who love Jesusand have allowed Godto do a transformingwork in them.

Grace is not againstbecoming successfuland being a highachiever. A true graceculture will create worldchangers thataccomplish great things.

Raising Up NewLeaders and Staff

Primarily from outsideof church. Lookingprimarily for achieversand new blood inministry.

Increasingly raises upleaders from withinthe church. Thosewho have beentouched by true gracethrough your ministrywill not just work foryou, but will lay downtheir lives for you.

Grace does notdiscount that there arepeople on the outsidewho can come andbring positive change tothe ministry.

Preaching/Teaching Mainly emphasizesrules & responsibilitiesof people. It has acore belief that thepeople dont reallywant to do what isright. Talks down topeople. Uses fear ofpunishment as mainmotivational tool.

Mainly emphasizesthe good news ofwhat God has donethrough Christ.Believes that peoplewant to do the rightthing. Encouraging.

Grace does not justhave feel good, seekersensitive messages. Itcalls people to a highsacrifice, but releaseshope and strength thruthe messages.

People Ministry WillAttract

Many who want rulesand cant or wontthink for themselves (people with limitedpotential).

Many history makers(often with baggage)that need someone tobelieve in them.

Grace does not justexpect that problempeople will be attractedto a ministry. Gracebelieves that strong,prosperous people willbecome vitalcontributors.

View of Self andOther People

Sinners prone to sin Saints (or pre-saints) prone to rightchoices as truth isshared

Accountability Keep you from sin Keep you on fire in

doing the right thingsin life.

Grace does not mean

that you dont havestrong accountability inareas where yourweakness is hurtingothers and/or ispotentially going tocreate a disaster foryou.
