Argumentation

The primary objective of an argumentative essay is to show that you have a valid argument, allowing the reader to adopt your position or to accept it as a truth. In an argumentative essay you don’t have to win the reader over to your side, but your objective should at least be to persuade them to “agree to disagree” with your position and accept it as another valid point of view.

truce because when soldiers participated in the Christmas truce it boosted morale. •  SUPPORT: "German soldiers and British soldiers

traded presents." (this isn’t an actual quote)
