IMPORTANTYour GPS Upgrade Kit is exclusively designed for your vehicle. Please read the installation instructionsthoroughly before beginning. Installation is easier if the vehicle is clean and free of debris. For your safety, and toensure a satisfactory installation, perform all installation steps correctly in the sequence shown.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONSNOTE
Due to the technical nature of this kit, Polaris® insiststhat this installation be performed by a certified
Slingshot® Technician.
1. Shift vehicle transmission to NEUTRAL. Turn keyto OFF position and remove from vehicle.Apply parking brake.
TOUCHSCREEN INFOTAINMENT REMOVAL1. Access two bezel mounting screwsA by carefully
pulling up on two front center dashboard piecesB.
2. Remove two bezel mounting screwsA and bezelC.

3. Tilt touchscreen infotainment assemblyD forwardand pull assembly out with electrical harness stillattached. Rest touchscreen infotainment assemblyD carefully on center console where it will not bedamaged.
GPS INSTALLATION1. Clean the GPS mounting location with solvent
wipe prior to installation.
WARNINGIsopropyl alcohol is hazardous to your health. Seeisopropyl alcohol packaging for proper handlinginstructions, including recommended personal
protective equipment such as goggles and chemicalresistant gloves.
2. Remove protective backing from adhesive tapeand firmly mount GPSq with embossed arrowpointing towards front of vehicle.
3. Connect radio harnessA to GPSq.
NOTERadio harness connector may be attached to amp
bracket with cable tie.
4. Reinstall touchscreen infotainment assemblyD,bezelC, and two bezel mounting screwsAremoved in Touchscreen Infotainment Removalsection.Torque two screwsA to specification.

Depending on internet connection speeds, mapupdate process may take up to one hour to
complete.
On Slingshot®
1. Connect 8 GB or larger USB drive to USB cablelocated in glove box compartment on passengerside of vehicle.
2. Navigate to Settings menu of touchscreen display.3. Select General Settings.4. Select Update Maps.5. Select Create Key in pop-up menu. Key will load
onto USB drive.On Computer1. Connect USB Drive (with key on it) to computer.2. Navigate to www.polaris.com/slingshot-ride-
command. Log in or create new account.3. Add your Slingshot® using Vehicle Identification
Number (VIN).4. Download and launch Map Toolbox application.
5. Log in or create new account (Map Toolboxaccount is separate from Ride Command™account). Follow instructions in Map Toolboxapplication.
6. Map Toolbox application will ask for coupon code(included in GPS Upgrade Kit ) or payment beforebeginning download.
7. Map update will download onto USB drive .8. Once download is completed, safely remove USB
Drive from computer.Return to Slingshot®
1. Connect USB drive to USB cable located in glovebox compartment on passenger side of vehicle.
2. Turn on Slingshot® and power up display.3. Navigate to Settings menu of touchscreen display.4. Select General Settings.5. Select Update Maps.6. Select Update Map in pop-up menu. This may take
up to 30 minutes to complete.7. Select Yes to restart display.8. You are now ready to ride!
