Puducherry State Resource Centre for Women (PSRCW) has proposed to create a data base of existing Non-governmental Organisations (NGOs) Community Based Organizations (CBOs), Voluntary Organisations (VOs) and Civil Society Organisations(CSOs) working in the different Field of Social Sector with Special emphasis on Women Empowerment or Women Issues.

All NGOs/CBOsNOs and CSOs working in the Union Territory of Puducherry are requested to register their profile in the prescribed format which can be downloaded from the https://www.py.gov.in OR https://www.wcd.puducherry.gov.in and send it to The Director, Puducherry State Resource Centre for Women, Department of Women and Child Development, No. 17, New Street, Koundanpalayam, Thattanchavady, Puducherry -605 009 superscribing on the cover as "An Invitation To Register ofNGOs/CSOsNOs and CSOs by post positively on or before 5.00 pm on 28.06.2016.

The information is requested for preparation of Data Base and Network of NGOs/CBOsNOs/ and CSOs to create a NGOs Directory. This is in no way connected with disbursement of any grant/fund.

AN INVITATION FOR REGISTER OF NGOs/CSOsNOs and CSOs

The National Mission for Empowerment of Women, Ministry of Women and Child

Development, Government of India aims to achieve to achieve empowerment of women by

enabling them to create their own independent identity through economic empowerment,

eradicating all form of exploitation and discrimination, providing access to education, maternal

and child health care to achieve their full potential and ensuring them rightful share in the

allocation resources and decision making, so can become equal partners in the family, in the

society and in the powers of nation building.

In the post 2016 era, multi stakeholders' partnership are expected to play an increasingly

important role for gender equality and women's empowerment. The effectiveness of multi

stakeholders' partnership while dependent on many factor be tied to their ability to manage and

share knowledge and expertise about the issues, processes and solution that are promoting for

empowerment of women and by building the capacity ofwomen's groups and other organisation

devoted to gender equality.

To ensure meaning full participation of multi-stakeholders, it is necessary to establish

formal structures and building trust and transparency in relationship between government and

various stakeholders and to facilitate sustainable development by the uplifting the economic,

social and political status of women.

Therefore, Puducherry State Resource Centre for Women (PSRCW) is proposed to

prepare a data base of different Non-governmental Organisations (NGOs) Community Based

Organisations (CBOs), Voluntary Organisations (VOs) and Civil Society Organisations (CSOs)

working in the different Field of Social Sector with Special emphasis on Women

Empowerment or Women Issues.

The NGOs/CSOsNOs and CSOs working in the Union Territory of Puducherry are

requested to submit their requisite particulars/details prescribed in the format to submit the same

with a covering letter duly signed by authorized signatory along with office seal at the following

postal address:

Registration of NGOs/CSOsNOs and CSOs. All other enclosures which have to be submitted

are to be scanned in PDF format with a file name as Registration of NGOs/CSOsNOs and

CSOs.

All the file that has been created are to be sent to the E-mail ID psrcw.pon@nic.in.

The hard or soft copies are to be sent on or before 5:00pm on 28.06.2016.

The information is requested for preparation of Database and Network of Stakeholders.
