YES. In one(1) working day, employee can incur tardiness twice. (am and pm).Hence, 5 days x 2 = 10 tardiness

Is it possible to incur 10 tardiness in just 5 days?

Habitual TardinessTen (10) times a month for at least two (2) months in a semester or at least two (2) consecutive months during the year.

Tardiness, even if not habitual, still causes inefficiency and is still prejudicial to public service as habitual

Habitual Tardiness: either grave offense or light offense under the Revised Rules on Administrative Cases in the Civil Service (RRACCS)

How to Compute Compensatory Overtime Credit (COC) ?

1. For OT on weekdays or scheduled work days:

COC = Number of Hours of OT services X 1.0

2. For OT on weekends, holidays or scheduled day off:

COC = Number of Hours of OT services X 1.5

COC is expressed in no. of hrs

Accrual of COCs:•At least forty (40) hours of COCs in a month (5 Days)•Unexpended balance SHALL NOT exceed one hundred twenty (120) hours ( 15 days)

Thereafter, any unutilized COCs are deemed forfeited.

Sample:

If an employee earned 8 COCs last July 2015, then it should be used within the year (on December 31, 2015) and until 2016.

CTO - ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATE OF COCs BY THE HEAD OF OFFICE

• Earned COC granted a Certificate of COC Earned duly approved and signed by the Head of Office.• The certificate indicates the number of hours of

earned COC by the employee in a month.• The certificate would be issued at the end of the

month.
