The government principles in law
The government principles in the constitution
are kind of like rules. You could also explain it
as the laws made or our rights.
The ten amendments also deal with the government principles in the constitution
These are the 3 branches of the
government
These branches are held together by checks and balances. Each branch is limited to power by the other two branches. branch has its own special powers.
The judicial branch The judicial branch helps shape the laws of the land. Held in the judicial branch is the supreme court and the nine justices. The supreme court also rules over all courts and interprets the constitution.
The executive branch The president and vice president are held in the executive branch. The executive branch also consists of the heads of various agencies in our government. Next this branch directs national defense and foreign policies. This branch also carries out laws, plus it approves and recommends new laws.
The legislative branch
The legislative branch helps build or laws and makes presidential nominations. This branch also consists of the senate and house. Both the senate and the house can introduce laws. But only the senate can approve or reject treaties from other countries and only the house can control our government spending.
