HELP US COVER OUR TREE IN ORNAMENTS

When you’re checking out at the registers this month, please consider “purchasing” an ornament to help us raise money for an organization that is so important to all of us at Ring Bros. Marketplace, Cape Kid Meals.

Currently, Cape Kid Meals packages and delivers almost 400 bags of food weekly for children in 15

Cape Cod schools. And the numbers of children in need are only growing. In order to do this each week

throughout the school year, Cape Kid Meals relies exclusively on donations and volunteers. Ring Bros.

Marketplace is proud to help their efforts by providing each child an apple and an orange every week. But so much more is needed. This is where you come in.

Purchasing an ornament to place on our tree is a small way to show that our community can come

together and help it’s neighbors. No donated amount is too small...our goal is to just cover the store tree in ornaments. Those ornaments mean one less child will

go hungry for a night.

MONTE’S TOP SHELF STUFFED CLAMS

• 2lbs cooked surf clams, chopped, shells reserved for serving • 1 small onion, diced • 1 medium fresh green pepper, diced • 2 teaspoons salt • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper • 1 teaspoon granulated garlic powder • 1 TBSP parsley, chopped • 1 pint clam juice • 3 large eggs, lightly beaten • 1/2 cup butter, melted • 1/3 cup Ritz Crackers, crushed • 1 cup plain bread crumbs • Paprika for garnish Heat oven to 350 degrees. Saute onion & pepper in a tablespoon of oil, adding seasonings and remove from heat. Stir in clams, juice, eggs & butter until combined. Then add crackers & crumbs. Divide into 12 clam shells and bake on a sheet or muffin tin for about 20 minutes or until golden brown. Garnish with paprika and serve warm.
