    3rdDay: Bilbao Tradition & Modernity

    Morning: DISCOVER BILBAO FROM THEESTUARY!

    Travel across the estuary of Bilbao by boat, observing how the cityproudly displays true works of art, designed by world-renowned

    architects. We'll discover the city's bridges, arriving almost to theestuary mouth, where the most famous bridge in the Basque

    Country is located, namely the Vizcaya Bridge. It has been declared

    a World Heritage Site and is a vivid symbol of industrial

    architecture.*

    *Depending on the weather, season and availability, we can substitute this

    activity by a guided visit to the old town of Bilbao.

    Designed by Frank O. Gehry, this museum of contemporary art has

    transformed the architectonical faade of Bilbao as one of the mostrenowned example of modern architecture in the world. The

    permament collection of the museum houses master pieces ofEduardo Chillida, Yves Klein, Willem de Kooning, Robert

    Motherwell, Robert Rauschenberg, James Rosenquist, Clyfford Still,Antoni Tpies and Andy Warhol.

    MARTIN BERASATEGUI: A WORLD REFERENCEIN GASTRONOMY.

    BIO:

    This world famous Basque

    chef is currently the holder

    of the most Michelin stars

    in Spain, namely 7, thanks

    to his constant search for

    the creation of new

    products and tastes.

    DESCRIPTION:

    Take out the chef you have inside and learn from the stars of

    Basque cuisines secrets.

    Get the day started with a selection of the best products from the

    baserritarras in the centenarian Ordizia market (only available onWednesdays). The baserritarras (traditional Basque farmers) offer

    the best land products, freshly harvested fruit and vegetables,corn bread, Tolosa beans, homemade cheese and an everlasting list

    of products.

    At the restaurant, Martn Berasategui will be awaiting to share hiskitchen with you and show you the ins and outs of his restaurant.

    You will visit the set where his TV show Robin Food is shot,

    located right in the restaurant. There you will elaborate a dish withthe guidance of Martn Berasategui.

    Finally enjoy his haute cuisine in the diner, a privileged place.

    coming, you will experience this activity under the stars, together

    with the oenologist Juan Jess Valdelana.

    You will be touched by the matching of 5 wonderful constellation

    stories with 5 of the best wines in the winery, which you will tastein brilliant glass.

    *Juan Jess Valdelana breaks into the vine growing world in 1980,buying his first vines from a winery of Elciego and, therefore,

    enlarging the family cultivation.

    In 1989, he is selected together with other 14 vine growers of theRioja Alavesa area and is trained in vine growing, oenology and

    marketing, graduating in Oenology in 1991. He carries out the last

    building extensions and takes a leap to achieve new goals, counting

    on his familys vine growers wisdom.
