manuacture o products made with plating (Black Chrome) containing hexavalent chrome, which

is one o the restricted substances.

We did this because, with the circulation rom the time RoHS went into eect o widely varying

inormation about detection methods, there was no determination o the absolute standard value.

However, having concluded that the hexavalent chrome detection method can be satisfed by

obtaining "elution detection value through boiling," we have confrmed that the hexavalent chrome

value in our company products is ar below the standard value. For that reason, we will resumeproduction o "Black Chrome Products."

With the H.A.P system, it's ability to adjust post

height, means that the pressure which the nut

puts on the string can be adjusted on each

individual string, so obtaining the ideal amount

of string oscillation. This ability to control string

sustain and touch tension allows the musician

to configure a set-up which perfectly for them.

Thanks to its ability to set the post at a lower

position compared to a standard post, H.A.P is

particularly suited to straight neck type

instruments, which have only a slight head

angle.

With H.A.P.-A, the range of movement for the

post enables it to be set in a far higher position

compared to a standard post. When used on

angle typed neck (acoustic guitars etc.), the

touch tension can be softer and as a result it is

easier to hold down strings, simultaneously

improving sustain.

The H.A.P-M system combines the H.A.P

system with the Magnum Lock. H.A.P -M

already has an established reputation, but now

whilst retaining the original functionality, we've

altered the string holes for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd

strings to a better diameter (1.2) so a more

positive string lock is possible. On neck types

with only a slight head angle, it is possible to

hold the string at just the right angle by

adjusting the post of each string to a lower

setting. In addition, it is possible to remove the

string retainer, thus doing away with excessive

frictional resistance and providing improved

tuning stability at the same time.

The GOTOH Magnum Lock uses string tuning

tension for its locking mechanism. Unlike other

regular locking pegs, it doesn't overly press the

strings, which means there's no fear of strings

breaking due to excessive lock. This system

avoids the out-of-tune caused by slack of string

wounding on string post, once tremolo arm

down play. On the New Magnum Lock the string

holes for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd strings, now have

a more suitable diameter (1.2) thus realizing

a more positive string-lock, and improved

tuning stability than ever before.

The MG and H.A.P.M have evolved for the

SG510 series and SD510 series. Moving the

lock-nut is now twice as fast though they still

retaining their original style and functionality.

Locking a string down now takes half the time it

does when compared with the standard MG.

Super compact housing: 8.5mm long, 21mm wide and 4.5mm in height.

1/3 to 1/2 the weight compared to that of an ordinary guitar machine heads.

(11 to 12 grams each for original aluminum buttons and standard post.)

A gear ratio of 18:1 with micro-worm gear inside for smooth tuning.

All parts are micro-precision machined, so they're both compact and strong.

All working parts are have bearings and metal washers fitted, giving a very smooth action despite its small size.

High precision

A choice of tuner posts and buttons means they are suitable for use on electric guitars, acoustic guitars, ukuleles, etc.

The post can be fitted from the upper face of the cover (side with the GOTOH logo on), please refer to fig.3

A wide variety of new layouts for instruments are now feasible, such as embedding in the headstock of the instrument,

installing on the front of the headstock, or from the side of the headstock, greatly extending the range of what's possible.

Thanks to weight saved it's easier to adjust the balance of body and headstock of the instrument making long

performances less tiring.

The housing is in an elegant satin black and all other parts have a quality finish.

The button and torque adjustment screw incorporates a locking mechanism. It is unlikely to loosen even after prolonged

use. Though, with wear on the washer, loosening may occur, so adjustment is required.

Main components are made of stainless steel, aluminum and brass, all of which are very resistant to corrosion.

*CAUTION : Although stainless steel is resistant to rust, under some conditions, it may rust.

Function

For the sake of the environment it is important to reduce the use of raw materials. STEALTH keys contain 1/3 to 1/2 the

amount of material compared to ordinary keys.

It is vital to recycle resources to protect the environment. All the main parts of STEALTH keys are composed of recyclable

materials. All parts are constructed so that it is possible to dismantle them. At the end of their lifetime, if dismantled and

each material handed to the relevant professionals, these precious resources can be recycled.

510 T series does not follow conventional vintage style, but instead pursu es the goal of greatertremolo functionality. It has a low clearance arm system of our own design. To guarantee astrong and hard-wearing tremolo blade, extremely resilient chromium molybdenum steel wasadopted for the plate. Its finished with high-grade heat treatment and precision machining.There are a 6 pivot point type, the same as the synchronized styl e and a 2 pivot point anchornut type, which incorporates stud lock (PAT.)* In addition, GOTOH's original FST feature (PAT.)

between the saddle and ball end, keeps the strings from touching the plate. Because of thepower spring, the unit's neutral balance is always maintained and the ability to return to tunewhen using the tremolo arm is significantly improved.The 510TS comes with the popular steel block as standard.

*Stud lock (PAT.) system mechanically fixes the clearance between anchor and stud bolt, eliminating loss of sound transmission to the body.

With the GOTOH Side Adjuster you can adjust the truss rod using a hexagonal wrench

from the side of the neck, making it the ideal system for adjusting neck curvature.

Unlike ordinary systems there's no need to separate the neck from the body and you

don't need to adjust the truss rod through the narrow spaces between the strings.

Adjusting the neck is easy, all you need do, is slack off the strings slightly.

* This Side Ajuster is designed for installation at manufacture. It is not a retro-fit.
