Thank you for coming to watch Gotta Dance, Woking Dance Space’s 18th show at the Rhoda McGaw Theatre.

Woking Dance Space is a pretty unique place. Run for the community by a team of volunteer trustees, we have a fantastic range of classes on offer, taught by creative and talented teachers. The studio is not just a great place to come and get fit, you will laugh, you may cry and you will make some amazing friends and memories along the way.

Since the last show, we have sadly said goodbye to our lovely teacher Natalie Dodd, we wish her the best in her new endeavours! We have also welcomed the awesome Laura Porter and fantastic Helen Ledsome to the teaching family at WDS for Monday classes. Congratulations are also due to Shani Nash and Claire Christou (from our sister studio Eastbourne Dance Space) for their recent ISTD Graduation.

Gretchen and six of our lovely ballet dancers joined Guildford Opera on stage in Verdi’s A Masked Ball in November 2018 at the Electric Theatre. We also bought and laid a fancy new studio floor, a great improvement on the slightly tattered old one!

This show is a showcase of all that is great about the studio. It’s the culmination of months of hard work, from rehearsals to costume making and cutting the music. Everyone at the studio has pulled together to create what you are about to see.

We hope you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoy dancing in it!
