We are desperately seeking five more volunteers to serve as mentors at the Wind Challenge event next Saturday, April 30 at The Dalles Civic Auditorium. Time requirements include a training on Thursday, April 28, 5:307:00 pm in The Dalles (dinner provided!) and Saturday, April 30, 8:00am to 12:30 pm in The Dalles (tshirt, snacks and lunch provided!). Mentors help guide students through the process of building a wind turbine no experience necessary as we will train you. Volunteers will need to go through a background check.
