Things to Think About

• Audience– Who, what

• Design– Choose appropriate colors, fonts images– Use white space– Images that help not distract– Example site

• Content– Most important info “above the fold”– Headings that make sense– Short and sweet paragraphs– 15 second rule

• Navigation– No more than 5 -7 links

• Use sub pages• Example web site using sub pages• Example web site using navigation broken into sections

Creating

• Create a site• Use template• Choose your site url with care

Basic Sharing
