Traditional Teacher-Concerned with the teacher being the controller of the learning environment.- They regard students as having 'knowledge holes' that need to be filled with information.

Modern/Digital Learners:

• Can do multi-tasking.

• Students who are required to use these technologies in their courses are unlikely to reject them and low use does not imply that they are inappropriate for educational use.

• Students do not naturally make extensive use for study purposes of many of the most discussed new technologies such as Blogs, Wikis and 3D Virtual Worlds.

through apprenticeships

with master workers or

• With today’s digital world, the classroom is not as critical as it was in a book based learning system. Today, information stored digitally can be retrieved 24/7.
