Background 2018 is an exciting year for Google for Education and Scottish Education with the announcement that G Suite Education will be available in Glow, Scotland’s National Digital Intranet. We are delighted to present to you a new Professional Development Pathway that Scottish Local Authorities accessing G Suite Education in Glow will be entitled to in 2018. The training events have been designed specifically for Scotland and based on feedback from educators who participated in pilot events in 2017. Pre-Discovery Day visit, an arranged visit to meet with
Senior Leaders and begin to explore how Google for
Education can help the Local Authority meet their vision
for Digital Learning. An introduction to the G Suite
Education Tools.

Discovery Day, a full day of high energy, fun
and hands on action packed day exploring all the
G Suite tools in practice. Exploration of evidence
based approaches for Digital Learning.

Adoption Call with our Google for Education
Team, supporting the Local Authority with their
plans and approaches.

LA Digital Leaders, a full day packed with
strategies to cascade training across the
school communities and the Local Authority

Chromebook Success Day a full day masterclass providing tips, tricks and
strategies for using Chromebooks for learning. It covers community and
parental engagement to peripherals, additional functions and focus on ASN use.
